I think he means an undeniable classic, which I think 2014 is. The concept of an undeniable classic is a myth anyway. For every artist who has an album that the majority agrees is a “classic”, there’s always the opposition who believe it’s their worst album or something like that.

Back during slavery times the master would break up our families by selling our brothers,sisters,mother daughters etc off to other plantations. We developed a defense mechanism against this by listing all the bad things about our relatives in hopes that it would discourage the Master from selling off our loved ones. We'd talk about their hair,their nails,their teeth anything we could find to make them appear to not be worth selling. To keep the family together Fast forward to now,it's a way to thicken our skin. The media pushes constant propaganda about blacks and has everyone thinking awful things about us So what we do is we toughen each other up by saying the most ridiculous things to and about each other under the notion that if you can withstand this then the media and propaganda and slander that other groups will say about you won't have an effect. the show warrior is amazing, some of the best martial arts on tv, andrew koji joe taslim and dean s jagger has some of the best fighting choreography in a tv show, mal gonna be hype af when he get to season 2 & 3 . julian and demaris are def work married as she picks something off his beard carringly. and forest hill drive 2014 is a classic and i dont even like j cole like that but its undeniably amazing album.

First listen to this show…wow. This show is TERRIBLE. Low energy. Bad jokes. TERRIBLE jokes. No organization in the convos. I left feeling more confused than entertained. Using screen share on a podcast is CRAZY btw. I really expected MORE but this is very, very, bad. It’s uninteresting. Somebody has to be there to punch up the show or PRODUCE-cause there is NO reason that Julian dude should be talking, on a microphone, for money.

Remember hip hop is within music and art and inner city street communication. What about all the other genres of music that black people created?
