You girls are always killing it! The estate sales you attend are usually a pickers dream! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next! Keep on picking.✌️😊
Omg that bottle that had the 4 different spouts I saw at Goodwill about 2 months ago! I looked it up and didn't see any really good comps for it and left it behind. Oh, and thank you for always showing what you spent. So many RU-vidrs act like their total is a big secret lol 😉
Oh wow! I’d never seen that before. We left it behind because we’ve found that those kinds of bar items can take a long time to sell. Glad to include what we spent so we can all get an idea what things cost at estate sales.
Hello from Alexandria, VA ( DC area). I love your videos, thank you for taking the viewers along on your picking adventures! The estate sales in DC and the surrounding areas are usually very well curated and expensive. I wish we had some picker sales! I love the woven backpack! Thanks again, and God Bless!
Those were tip ups for ice fishing in the back pack style basket. They sell really well. Read up on ice fishing, if you have any free time, it's a fun activity.
It’s a good thing you didn’t have to pay by weight. The dust would have bankrupted you! So many of those items were straight out of my childhood, even the ladybug magnets off the fridge, err icebox.
Can’t get enough of these! Love getting dirty and getting in those spaces people haven’t been in a looooong time. The heat though in those attic spaces 🫠
Loved everything you grabbed! Would love to hear your thoughts on your booth and if it is worth it or not. I wish I could find a place nearby that gets a good turnaround. I've got lots to sell that I don't want to ship.
We got a booth for similar reasons. We have a lot we want to sell and also not have to ship. Having a booth has opened us up to being able to pick different things, like furniture and clothing. We stopped selling clothes for the most part on eBay because it just didn’t make financial sense for us. We refresh the booth once a week and have to drive 45 minutes. There are closer antique malls but we really wanted to work with this business because of their reputation. I’m glad we’re trying it out. I much prefer selling in person to online selling. We cover our expenses in a week and the rest is profit minus cost of goods. The big surprise for me was how much time it takes to price and tag each item. It’s a half day to do that. It’s month by month so no contract to sign. We sell mostly 15-35 smalls. We sold one piece of furniture. It’s really the smalls that do well. I hope this helps your process.
@@earthlydelights Yes it does! Thanks so much for taking some time to give me this info. I think I found a place to check out and like you, it's about 40 minutes away. They want a contract and a confirmed 6 months rental. I'm going to go see it this weekend to see the if it will work for me. Thanks again!
Hi Ladies-what a great sale-diggers dream😉😉! Speaking of digging-Kelly, I just love how you are not afraid to get your hands dirty, dusting off all the layers of yucha muck😉. I appreciate how that estate company is willing to wheel and deal the first day, not many do that. Do you ever get a chance to go back on the last ‘sale’ day? I like it when a sale has a ‘fill a paper grocery bag’ for $10-15👍🏻. I heard you might do a cat show-if so, will it be on Instagram? Oh-I agree with ‘Love from Canada’ - post more😉😉! Would Melissa carry a camera, so you could get 2 videos outta 1 sale? By the way, how is your booth doing? Hope you’re selling up a storm😉😉! As I’ve said before, love your content and keep doing what you’re doing🥰🥰🥰!!! Angie-the dog and cat lady in Sioux Falls, SD
I love those spaces most people don’t want to venture into! We do go back sometimes and it’s really good to because there is ofte, surprisingly soooo much good stuff left. Yea, we will be doing a live cat themed show on instagram soon. We started curating and it’s gonna be a fun one. 🐱 I’ve asked Melissa if she would wear a camera and this is her face-> 🙄. One day when I can make a full time living doing this, I will release more videos. We really want to make more! The booth is going well. We’ll be sharing an update very soon. Thanks for your support!
I live in Idaho...no I am not a radical rightist. West coast picking isn't nearly so productive. Been in the antiques and collectibles business for over 50 years and know you two have the eye and knowledge to have your your own antiques store someday. One of the best things about it is: you never stop learning new things about old things.☮
@@johnweiss3198 estate sales generally don’t price individual items. This particular sale didn’t price much. Its make a pile and get priced at the end. We work with them a lot.
When my friends would say, “ I’ll go thrifting with you” I say… “ well, you have to remember, I’m working” I’ll take way longer then them, looking stuff up etc.
