Hi Kayla, I sell tons of Hallmark ornaments (mostly on Amazon). Always pick up the red cardinal if you see it as it is very rare. The last one I found was at a rummage sale, brand new, paid less than a dollar. Sold on Amazon for around $350.

When we have estate sales in the wealthy neighborhoods, people start getting in line at 2:00 AM for a sale that opens at 9:00 AM!! There is nothing there I need badly enough to do that! And, the cake carrier that you said was priced at $60 cost me $7.99 at Goodwill a few weeks ago. The Butterprint pyrex friggies you snagged were a great purchase!

My aunt and I went to an estate cell last Saturday it started at 8:30 AM very good photos so we've got there at 6:25 AM we were number 22 and 23 in line. Folks near the front had gotten there at 3 AM 🤯blows my mind🤯😱

Oh my gosh. It is so bittersweet. I had two daughters only 23 mos apart and I had horrible depression over her senior yr (my oldest daughter). Every last event was so hard. Both my daughters did so much we were so busy together even though I worked two jobs as a nurse. I also coached their summer softball program for both for 9 years and they also were in 3 sports in school for the 4 years in high school. It was ruff! So I feel ya. ❤

You're so smart! You spend your time where you know you'll be most successful - lower priced items undervalued by the sales co. You had a lot of that to yourself while others cruised around looking for the BIG scores. I mean, you looked for those, too, quickly then settled down into what works best for you. Great job!!

I've bought lots of Hallmark ornaments. Before I got choosy (knew what I was doing), I ended up donating lots of them, but in the last year, I sold quite a few between $10 and $65 . There are some that don't appear to be anything special, but are worth $$. Good luck with yours. I'm sure you'll have some good ones.

For a Blue Moon Sale, you found some great prices. We usually go on the second day and have made literally thousands on the things we find there. I live in your neck of the woods, so will be looking for you as I go treasure hunting this year. A friend just turned me on to your channel, and I am enjoying seeing your journey. Ikea bags are key. I love them, and can always spot my fellow pickers by them!

I saw the Blue Moon sign and can totally relate. I quit going to their sales for inventory because it’s usually so high. The last one I went to was charging $8 for each Hallmark ornaments

After watching your videos for awhile now, I went to my first estate sale today. They had Christmas nativity blow molds listed and someone bought them for $500. 😲 I was channeling my inner Kayla and went straight to the kitchen. I left empty handed but I’ll definitely go again. In the meantime, I’ll watch you every week. 😊

Last sale I went to, my # was 257...this was the second round of numbers. But we only waited 30 min. We spent little, but got a lot! Went the second day and repeat. . I was invited to another sale day. I racked up! I love a deal.

I can feel your anxiety!! I agree, some of these sales are top dollar. Usually on last day, they discount, BUT at full retail, it's not always a deal even then. Good for the owner of the sale if they can get it.

Wow! What patience! 2 hrs. And I was saying she moves quickly thru this. That's bc ur so seasoned at seeing things that are going to sell. You went thru more than once or more. I can surely see how this can be work when you have a business. Walking thru for ur own pleasure is different. They had a huge amount at that sale. Hope you found a dress 👗 for your dtr. I cannot believe you have a child old enough for hs graduation! You have a lot going on. Children always 1st and clearly You know that. Some very nice finds... Estates sales can be maddening. I have gone to estate auctions and those are some really good for picking. Timing is your best friend on those.... Made it to the end... Yeah, I generally only go to Blue Moon Estate Sales on half off day. (But my best 2 scores ever are from Blue Moon Estate Sales)

Most estate sales around where I live in NC start giving out numbers an hour before opening, so I always try to be there at that hour mark. Even then, I haven't one of the first numerous times, lol. Blue Moon is notorious in our area for being one of the most expensive estate sale companies. I always leave/put back a lot more than I buy.

Sometimes I’ll forget my bag, too. Most of the time I can pick up a bag somewhere in the house. Tote bags are usually pretty cheap. If I fill one up I’ll just buy it to carry my stuff.
