God did tell us what happened in the beginning. He didn't say it in the book of Genesis but he did tell us elsewhere in the Bible. Why don't you read the book of Jeremiah and you'll find out.

This great battle between God and Satan took place in the first world age when we were all in our spiritual bodies. God destroyed that age and created the age we are in now absent of any memory of the first age, so that we may through free will accept and love God or choose not too. God could have destroyed Satan and all his followers at that time if he had wanted to, but decided to create this earth age instead in the hopes that all would come to repentance. I am not religious in any way. I believe that there’s something but what exactly I don’t know. But what I do know is that the scriptures have been written, and rewritten many times . So bits have probably been added & some bits taken out. Or maybe just mistranslated. Either way if there is a God that is all seeing it will be part of a bigger plan that we could never begin to understand. As I mentioned, I am not religious but I try to be a good person and help where I can. Hopefully if there is a judgement I will have done enough to go to the good place not the bad. 👍👍

Deuteronomy 14:1 - “You are the sons of the Lord your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave your forehead for the sake of the dead". Jeremiah 3:19 - “Then I said, ‘How I would set you among My sons And give you a pleasant land, The most beautiful inheritance of the nations!’ And I said, ‘You shall call Me, My Father, And not turn away from following Me.’ Deuteronomy 32:5 - “They have acted corruptly toward Him, They are not His children, because of their defect; But are a perverse and crooked generation". Also, just keep in mind, that Hell itself is destroyed at the end when it does its job, see Revelation 19-20

Hell is not a place. All go to paradise when they die, but there is a great divide or gulf that no one can cross. Those that made it on one side and those that didn't on the other side. Rev. 20 through 22. What God creates into being, he can snuff out as well. This is known as the second death or death of the soul. Don't worry! Before the creation, there was nothing, nothing existed, the earth was without form, and void, just darkness, so wherever you getting stories from before creation, just made up, that's why the bible came into being from the beginning all the way to the end, everything we need to know about everything, exists between Genesis and Revelation. Because 2Timothy 3; 16 tells us that the bible was written at the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, with warnings in Revelation 22, 18, 19. What if satan wasn't the bad guy we were all made to believe. What if the real reason he rebeled against god was not because he loved humans more than him. What if satan realized "god" was enslaving humans and forcing them to obey and worship him, and satsn rebeled believing humans should be able to have free will and worship whatever god or diety of whom they desire to follow.
