Is this vibrato the same as singers' vibrato? In other words, if an opera singer learns to flute, would he be able to use his singing vibrato on the flute? And would a flutist be able to apply her flute vibrato to singing?
That’s a great question! I’m not sure, as I am not a singer, but it’s not quite the same! Sound wise, we often try to imitate the vibrato of singers, but how we do it is a bit different as we are using air and not activating our vocal chords
@@goldinflute question for you: UuUu to me means tongue movement primary and jaw movement secondary… but do you also employ breath changes with your diaphragm?
