Its insane the accuracy you get trading one sided FVGs. Here's a model I've been testing on NQ: - Between 9:50am-11:30am - 1min chart - Only look for trades aligned with midnight open bias. (Above shorts, below longs) - Previous sweep m1 swing - Only one sided FVGs - 1:2 RR minimum Thanks for this valuable info.
Some of the most informative trading content on youtube. You don't hide your comments like a lot of furus on here, you're straightforward, and only talk strategy. Keep it up!
@@j._7054 Top Step futures. Nah. Hit my SL limit after 3 weeks. Was up 2% out of the gate then took a few hits in a row. Should have traded micros instead of mini's. Lesson learned.
With silver bullet this is what I needed to see a bit exstra , I trade the silver bullet with previous sessions highs and lows with Displacement either through the highs or the lows the spot entry in between the entry hour
I swear if this was what I knew about FVGs, I wouldn't share it😭😂. Actually happy and annoyed at the same time...Happy because there are gems, annoyed because TF is it free
Thank you again and again and again, Jesse for giving us gems of info that will help us in our trading. I don't have the actual money to enrol in your mentorship, but I will continue watching your videos and apply it to my trading.
Thank you so much Casper I can tell u this I will never ever-see fair value gaps the same way again after this video keep posting and doing the amazing things that you do Jesse I will soon be joining your mentorship cause I know simplicity scales and complexity fails 💯💯🙏🔥
This video is an eye opener jst the hope I needed I understand all the concepts explained here and I'm working on back testing but the only prob I have left is entry confirmation a video explaining even if it's one entry confirmation for this video I would appreciate and this strategy will be one I shall trade with every day
THANKS CASPER! FOR ALL OF YOUR VIDS! IM SURE IT TAKES A LOTTA TIME TO MAKE EM' ALL AS THE CUTTING AND EDITING TO CREATE THE FINAL VIDEOS TAKES HOURS AND HOURS TO DO. I'M SURE THAT IN ORDER TO MAKE VIDEOS EFFECTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL YOU GOT TO SPEND THE TIME. SO YEA, JUST WANTED TO THROW YOU A BIG ASS THANK YOU FOR IT ALL! {no, my caps were'nt locked, lol)
Within your mentorship do you focus on the way you trade or the way your mentee trades? Me for example i am working on my model of trading MMXM. Wouldn't make much sense if i have to mimic your trading style if it were different. Great explanation of FVGs. I am just learning since a year with very little demo trading but the concepts start to fit into each other. I am convinced that my style of learning without rushing the process will shield me from much unnecessary harm. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
VERY good video Casper....may I add another little nugget??? a strong FVG is also if the 3rd candle closes SOLID above/below the middle candle. AND ....another little nugget....usually....IF the third candle that completes the FVG has a long wick (towards the FVG), there is a good chance he wont mitigate !! (why? cuz if you dig deep into that wick....it had FVG down and then FVG up )cheers
Last nugget.....the position of the negating FVG lets say FVG down, and then FVG up (grabbing liquidity) if the FVG up is above the -FVG......STRONG (coupled with a Breaker)
Casper, do u combine SMC with ICT? Is there one more helpful than another? Great video! I had to keep rewinding to get familiar with the terms. For instance, some people call manipulation “Liquidity Grab” …. So I don’t even know if that is a term from SMC, ICT, or different terminology that different people in ICT use! And I had never heard the term internal versus external market structure shift, now I can’t even remember what term you used so I have to watch that part for a third fourth or fifth time…
Hi Casper, a big shout out to your videos, thank you so much.I have some observations about the low-probability setups, you mentioned if a price action has an "alien" candle in between two similar candles, then that is prone to be a low-probability setup...I have seen price action where the "alien" candle represents a rest in the price action, symbolizing more bullish buys. Can you please comment if you are on the same page as me? Also, can you please show a detail video on low probability setups. Thanks so much
Tim what time frame are you using in the examples for this video? Thanks … I thought I heard you state a one minute chart ? Is this what you use to look for FVG’s?
Peace 😎Thanks always for sharing the trading knowledge. The focus of categorizing "FVG" concepts is enlightening, especially in a trading education world that seems mostly inefficient in communicating measurable and actionable trading knowledge. Maybe someday you could oversee the creation of a reliable "FVG" indicator? Be well and encouraged 😊
Hi Casper. I would really appreciate your response on this. Does it mean that, we can use 2 sided fvg if it's only 1 of the 3 candlesticks that are in the opposite direction of our bias? let's say in a bullish FVG case, we have 2 bullish candlesticks and 1 bearish candlesticks, can we still use it?
Thanks... Love the video... You speak really fast so I thought I would slow the video down to 75% but my attention to the lesson was even worse because you sounded stone. Great laugh and great info
Another great video , really really helpful . enhancing trading for free very very valuable content . thanks jesse for all your hard work and generosity
Great help explained exactly how I needed , seen you on insta first vid I seen made perfect sense so followed and continued watching, I’m gathering all the RU-vidrs/ instagramers ect that make perfect sense to me and one’s that study the same concepts and strategies, combining all info to something new that makes sense to me
Hello casper ,thank you for ur videos 🙏🏾something is going over my head for a while and it is like why does ict and smc student don't make money like other traders who don't at all talks about ict and smc concept? I hope this txt will find you,i will be happy to know ur response...thank you
I have a question, Does defining a fvg, means wick not touching eachother? What if one candle close with no wick, And the other with wick, But there’s imbalance in between. Is it a good setup to take?
Does anyone know of any student that took mentorship with Casper? I would love to speak to a few of the mentees personally to get their feedback on their experience on the mentorship. I am interested in doing the mentorship with Casper.
@@bryansalazar8927 Nope. Just an American trader switching over to futures. I've followed Jesse since he started. Always explains things to where I can understand them.
