@@sponish0 Not necessarily true, to be honest there's a lot of politics in the football game especially the early stages which most people aren't aware of and would be shocked if they knew. As someone who's been around and seen how it works there's been top tier talent that has gotten passed up on because another kid with less talent was much more connected to a somebody which is extremely common in that transition from a small decent club to that next level club like an Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea even from u13 up to u21s. When I was coming up it wasn't like that for the most part, it was pretty fair but now it's even surprisingly worse, parents who act as sponsors for clubs are now buying their child places on the team, dictating who's on the squad regardless of talent level and that goes all the way up to professional teams.
