This should come back in future fallout games I didn't do it often in new vegas but when I did it also made me chuckle and its more realistic than finding bottles of purified water in some random abandoned building in the wasteland

Definitely don't think is a way one *should* really play NV, its main strength is storytelling and exploration, but I'm impressed you got through all of it so underleveled either way.
I somehow bumbled my way into getting this achievement. The only hard part to balance is sleep, really. *Edit* Oh no, the canyon north of Goodsprings? You poor soul.
Is the word, "worst" used to mean _easiest_ here? I've never not played on hardcore. Softcore sounds boring; and Caravan is simple. Does no one read the how-to-play file? You just stack 7-9-10 to get 26 and use jacks on opponent's high cards. Win hundreds to thousands of caps in about two minutes.
Truth be told, Here are details about each faction that might interest you: - The Brotherhood AND the Legion are by far the strongest factions in terms of strength and bulkiness. Since you can't side with the Legion if you side with ANY OTHER MAJOR FACTION (Mr. House, NCR, Yourself because yes you can rule Vegas alone) you'll need to be ready to eliminate the Legion and choose the stealthy method (get the codes to self destruct their base) to eliminate the brotherhood or gain their loyalty. - The Boomers are actually the best faction you can gain as if you do their questline they will provide a GODDAMN Bomber plane for the final fight. - Most Casino families require actual investigation or clever trait investment to gain their trust or neutralize them. So while faster to kill everyone, its not the fastesr way to beat the game - The fastest way to beat the game is to get the platinum chip, bond with a specific NPC, and then do the Money DLC so you can side with the main antagonist there. Doing this will IMMEDIATELY end the game right there and then and you didn't even have to gain all the factions trust or eliminate them to get it done - If you simply want to eliminate ALL THE FACTIONS INCLUDING MR. HOUSE, then you should of looked for Yes Man and choose the faction option "Yourself"
Hard-core isn't even hard. It just makes the game more immersive by making you drink, wat and sleep. An easy way to get water in hard core is to help Bill Ronte cure his addiction and work with the Followers, and do G.I Blues. Then you gey access to the water pump for free. (The water pump, not the purified water you can buy from the kings) drinking from the water pump gives a large amount of hydration.
I never played Fallout in Softcore and I'm always shocked when I see people post their 100% Achievements and Hardcore is their last Achievement. You get that normally on your First Playthrough, who the fuck plays New Vegas in Softcore?

I ain’t gonna lie you made this wayyy harder on yourself by killing everyone, lanius was cake for me bc I helped the brotherhood and got their armor and weapons lol
It’s crazy how you’re playing all the games I am playing right now. I’ve just done dead space 2, 1, dead rising 1. New vegas and much more. I’m new to the channel and I’m glad to say I’m enjoying the content! Keep it up man.
Just did this 100% on ps3, I think the game is perfect and love it but the game on ps3 is terrible. Constant crashes and lag make it a horrible experience
This feels like a highlight reel of someone's first time through the game, you don't talk about balancing hardcore aspects at all. Edited well enough but I feel the achievement was not the focus of the video, kind of a let down
i do mention at 5:55 that a good bunch of those things don't really stress anything when you've got caps, and i think i mention it again in the outro? and i wasn't about to show/mention everytime i slept tbh. the difficulty 100% only ended up coming from having it cranked up to very hard + being (i think?) a low level. i super get what you mean though, thanks for the feedback!
It would be awesome if you made a VOD channel as well, for people to check out your streams afterwards or for those that weren't able to make it or stay for the whole stream.
See, when I play hardcore mode, I legitimately do everything I can to keep myself and my companions alive; directing them to wait at a safe location and doing recon, going slowly. If you're going to play with this speed and decision making, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Hardcore is quite easy tbh, I only don't get companion in this mode because I'm tire trying to keep them alive when they keep charging at Deathclaw without thinking that it will one shot them. The only hard part about hardcore mode is finding where to store these 89 purifier water that I keep cooking Incase I got thirsty.
IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET THIS, READ ME: if you want an easy, quick playthrough, get speech up to 100 first, then medicine, and survival. You can speech your way through every scenario almost, even speech win the final fight with whichever faction youre against. Only trouble youll have is if you confront the brotherhood of steel. Before you get too far into the main campaign, try to do the side mission that keeps the head of brotherhood to mcnamara, so you can broker a truce between the house you choose, and them. Otherwise, youll have to kill them, unless you side with yes man. Easiest way to get to the brotherhood early is get veronica as a companion, and head to the brotherhood hidout. Veronica is found at the 188 trading post btw. If thats not your thing just kill them all. I kill one of them that carries a gauss rifle then massacre them all with said gauss rifle. Or ya know, steal all keycards and blow the place up. (I got all the achievements back on 360. I then decided once wasnt enough and am currently 3 trophies away from platnium on ps4 version through ps now.) Best of luck everyone. Hardcore mode is easy tbh. The annoying trophies are the 3 star gra challenges, or 10000 with certain weapons, because it takes so long.
@@anxietony just thought cause it was a really popular horror game that there would be a video kinda like the outlast video you did with the lunatic achievement. Would be awesome to see you play it.
@@Jammerdude07 they messed up the sensitivity when the series x came out. Makes both of em unplayable as it takes 6 seconds to 180. Tried it on multiple series x, with different controllers and different profiles so it’s just a game bug.
@@Jammerdude07 I know, it bugs me. I watch the Xbox clips and other people seem to be okay, can’t find anyone online suffering the same issue. Yet it can’t be a me problem since it’s happened on two other series x I got it on pc but I made a new Xbox acc so I can 100% any game I play so it’ll never be on there, which again bugs me lol
