+Misty Lee I love your style of performance...the whole Victorian look is a really cool style for you; it fits you marvelously well. Love the performance as well. As a fellow magician of 20 odd years now, I can really appreciate the seance. I lean more towards close-up effects and street magic, so there's a bit of cross-over there. Seances are up-close as well. All in all, you've more than earned your spot in the exclusive Magic Castle! And that garb looks becoming on you!
Well first off, it's because if they just put magician, people are not going to get hooked into it. Definitely, we should totally refer to her as a magician, not female magician. However, by recognizing her gender, we're acknowledging her struggle as a woman who works as a magician, whose experience is totally different from the male magicians. It is definitely difficult for her to get involved in this type of career, as it is male dominated. She does not have as much privilege as the men. So by acknowledging her gender, we're also acknowledging her experience of being a female magician and the effort that she puts out in order to become a magician.
Top women in all professions say the same thing. They dont want to be the best female (insert gig here). They just want to be the best. Period. That should go without saying.

Might be fake. My uncle has been on TV a few times, and a few times they have shown a house that isn't his. Still weird because it's somebody's house, but I would bet it's not in the same city.
This is amazing, but really funny that in the beginning she says she doesn't want to be a renowned 'female' magician she just want to be a renowned magician. And then the video title is "This 'female' magician" why not just This magician.

i like this interviewer, she sounded genuine than the other ones I saw in this channel... Like she was curious and interested and not being judgmental on the subject. I enjoyed this^_^
Man, this is one of my favorite Broadly docs. I just love this one. Michelle was a great interviewer here, and seemed so genuinely interested and spellbound. Misty seems so great as well.

When asked to name prominent magicians Misty Lee is one of the names I list, along with Dorothy Dietrich(First and only female magician to perform the bullet catch), Melinda, Charlotte Pendragon, Judy Carter(Who was taught card magic by the legendary Dai Vernon), Juliana Chen, Suzanne, Belinda Sinclair, Arian Black, and Joan DuKore. One thing that bothers me is that at the beginning the woman says she doesn't want to be known as a female magician just a magician but even in the title they refer to her as such.
I listened to an interview with Misty on a comedy podcast and couldn't help but fall in love with her. She was just so real and lovely and just totally comfortable with herself.
I love that she's honest and obviously very very skilled and that's why she CAN be honest because she's not giving secrets of no one else can duplicate the experience
Hey broadly, at least put the magicians name in the title! Id love to see her! And Id love to see her for who she is....not just a female magician. I dont care if shes a female magician. She just seems fun

I've been to the Magic Castle, my favorite place I have everrrr been! Contacted one of their magicians online and he was able to get my sister and I in.
London may be bullied when "majouring in witchcraft." I was almost prohibited from visiting my uncle because my mother thought her brother-in-law is a witch. "Uncle Emmanuel committed witchcraft in the land of my ancestry." is just a myth as well as a level between dream and nightmare. Now he's no longer in town.
