@@UK.RoadsCyclingandTransport Seems to do a really good job for £40. It's a shame you can't manually control the RGB lights, but you can with the A8 which we reviewed recently and that's also very cheap too.
I don't think I've subscribed and liked a review of something so quickly. Looking for a mic suitable for some voiceover for this channel and I'm happy I found yours. Top notch, thank you!
It should do a decent job. I imagine it's not going to be as good as a more expensive condenser microphone, but to start off with, it should do the job.
@@Andyhhhdx Hey man. Thanks for the quick reply. I wanted to share the link but YT didnt allow me to share links directly and my comments became disappeared. So I sent you the link by email.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) If i'm doing live streams using OBS then I use the noise reduction filter that's built in. If I'm editing a video then I use Adobe Premiere and there is a Denoise filter which can be used.
Hello there, I hope you're well :) Is your laptop using Windows as the operating system? If it is, then it should just work when you plug the cable in.
@@Andyhhhdx oh hi! I wasn't expecting you to reply this so fast and i hope you're well too :D i just thought i needed to change the volume to make the mic quality better because i don't know how it sounds when i talk 😅 thank you for taking your time to reply! Advance happy new year to you 😊
@@Vayriee No problem at all :) What I would recommend is installing Audacity onto your laptop (It's free) and you can record your voice into this and get a bit of an idea if you need to adjust your volume at all. You can download it from here - www.audacityteam.org I hope this helps you out :)
@@Andyhhhdx oh i see! Thank you for the information :) about he microphone properties, what is the difference between the "Default playback device" and the "Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)" do i have to pick which one of those? I really can't tell the difference
@@VayrieeHello :) your playback device is your speakers on your laptop. Chances are Windows has already set your Realtek Audio as the default for your speakers so if you switch between the default playback and Realtek audio then you won''t hear any difference because it's picking up the same speakers. If you wanted to change the Windows volume of your microphone then: Click on windows icon in bottom left corner type in sound and click on sound settings Under the "input" tab, select your microphone. Click on device properties (this should be blue text) Now you should have a volume slider for your microphone. I usually have my microphones set at around 80 in Windows and then I manually turn the volume up and down on the microphone itself. I find that if I have the Windows audio set to 100, then this makes any microphone I use not sound great. I hope this helps :)
I have the same mic it is terrible . I bought it after watching the reviews of youtubers. Waste of money boya bym1 sounds better than this. Picks up blurry noise even in an empty room.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with the microphone. Keep using your Boya BYM1 if you're getting better audio with it :)
Honestly, this is how reviews should be done, so thorough. Don't test something off camera a variety of ways and then come tell us what you found, show us the testing itself! Very well done, keep up the amazing work 👌🏽
Thank you so much, that's a great comment to receive. I'm glad the video has helped and we'll do our best to create more like this in the future :) Wishing you the very best.

@jaikant7311 that's a bummer. I'm not really on the market for a new mic right now. I've had my trusty Blue Yeti for 5-6 years and I have no reason to change it, but I guess I just saw this mic in the background of someone's video once and decided to look up reviews just out of curiosity because it looked interesting.
I`m used to a headset mic while gaming so when that broke i picked one of these up and bought a cheap boom arm to mount it on and it works perfect, it sounds better than my old headset mic i am told so no complaints here, and i like the fact that you can tell when it is muted by the fact the RGB is off
Hello Desmond, I hope you're well :) I totally agree about this microphone, it performs extremely well, especially for how cheap it is. I would say the only drawback is the included tripod but as you've got it mounted onto a boom arm then you've eliminated the only drawback :) It is a bonus that the RGB lights go off when you're muted. I've left myself muted a number of times on other microphones without realising but it's easy to know with the Fifine A6V. I hope the microphone serves you well and wishing you the very best :)
@@Calvin.The.Unfindable It does do a good job :) I do quite like the lights, it's a shame that you can't control the sequence, but that's where the Fifine A8 comes in where you can control them :)
Dear Andy I have a question, unfortunately in my country even this microphone is waaaaay too expensive. I have a gaming channel that i am about to reach 1k in a few weeks. (820 right now). Do you think that If I were to send an email to Fifine, would they send me this microphone to try it out? Just to try it out, share my opinions on it in one of my videos, and send it back? I am really not experienced in this "sponsor" area. I would like to learn about your experiences.
Hello there buddy, I hope you're well :) Congrats on the good work with your channel, you're not too far away from those 1000 subs, keep it up. I would send them an e-mail, the worse they can say is no :) With any kind of collaboration, you need to always look at it from the company's point of view, this is what most people miss. People just want a free product and think a company should just send it through out the goodness of their hearts so if you find any brand that you would like to work with, then always offer them something in return. So we'll take Fifine for example, what can you offer Fifine for it to be worth them to send you a free microphone? Can you create some content on the microphone that you can put on your RU-vid channel or your social media pages and tag Fifine into it. Whether that be a review, just some B roll footage of the microphone or a video of you using the microphone and saying how great it is and how others could benefit from having one too. Always remember that any brand wants to make money as this is what allows them to stay in business or they may have issues with creating content of their own. It's worth checking out brands social media accounts as you may find they may have a high presence on something like Tiktok, but no presence at all on Instagram. So could you offer the brand some content for their Instagram account? Sorry for the long-winded answer but back to the original point, yes send Fifine an e-mail :)
@@Andyhhhdx It is exactly the type of respond I was expecting, the long-winded one. Even a tiny bit of information is new for me, so Im glad you kept your response long and explained about other perspectives. I really really appreaciate you sharing your knowledge about such stuff with me. Really, thank you so much. And I will send email, but not now, maybe after I got 1k subs. Thanks again.
@@imreallyalone No problem at all, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I do live streams too so feel free to jump into one of those on here and ask away, i'll do my best to answer :)
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. USB mics should work fine on the Switch, i've just found this short which lets you know how to do it - ru-vid.comI-onvJxY6dM?si=EWaCmbVesfyaJ6ek
Thankyou. Thats what i came here for. I wanted yo know what it would sound like if i didn’t have it RIGHT by my mouth I want something I can talk through but through the side. Thankyou sir ❤
Thank you, i'm glad we showed what you needed to know in the video. Really appreciate you takin g the time to comment too. I hope you have a great day :)
Hello there, I hope you're well :) The first thing I would try is plugging it into a different USB port, so if you've got it currently plugged into the front of your computer, then try plugging it into one of the USB ports on the back. If that doesn't work, then I would try another USB cable if you have a spare one handy and see if that helps. You could also try installing Nvidia RTX Voice as this can help remove any background noise coming from the microphone. If you're still struggling, then I would recommend sending it back for a replacement. I hope this helps.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) I imagine that it would sound the same as it does in the review, unless the PS5 does anything dodgy with microphone audio. As you can probably tell, I don't have my own PS5 :)
can i use it to denoise or inhid it for example if i talk by mic and switch song on near by 1 meter will affect on my voice or not and could you advise me on worthwhile microphone please
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. As in remove background noise? You would need to use something like OBS and use audio filters in there to remove background noise. I think you're asking that if you are talking into the microphone and you switch on some music, will this change your voice? It won't change your voice and you will still come through the same as you did before. The microphone will most likely pick up that background music though so if you're on a voice call or streaming, then the person on the other end will hear the music. I hope this helps.
Hey from india sir. ! Sir I don’t have these sound proof pads on wall but i have this mic and i am not able to achieve this kind of sound quality 🥹🥹 please help
Hello there :) I hope you're well. I don't have soundproof pads in my room either, what I would recommend trying is to turn the volume down on your operating system to around 88 and then control the volume on the microphone itself. Make sure your volume isn't 100% in your operating system. Another thing you can try is getting a microphone sound shield. I've not tried one of these myself so I couldn't say for certain how good they are, but they should help. Here is a link so you know what i'm talking about - www.amazon.co.uk/Microphone-Isolation-Absorbent-Condenser-Recording/dp/B0BDX1GTM5/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=microphone+sound+shield&qid=1692258066&sprefix=microphone+sound+%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
There's always something better with everything in life but it usually comes with a higher cost :) If you currently don't have a microphone or using an inbuilt mic on a laptop then this is a very good choice for a first microphone in my opinion.
@@Andyhhhdx I am using an inbuilt mic, i would appreciate it if you would check the quality of it (saved vods on my twitch at AriasACutie) and tell me if its fine or if i need to upgrade
So sorry for not getting back to you. I've not had any notifications from RU-vid when people have commented back to me and i've only just realised. Just had a quick listen to some of your clips and your mic sounds fine to me. I can hear your clearly which is good enough :)
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) I know that it works in USB C mobile phones like my Samsung Galaxy S21 that's running Android. But I'm unsure when it comes to tablets. I imagine that providing it is USB C then it should work. If you're converting micro USB to USB C then I'm not sure.
Hello buddy, it's plug and play so it should be a matter of just plugging in and away you go. If you are getting static sound then what I would try is: Plugging it into a completely different USB port on your computer, if you're plugging it into a USB 3.0 (blue port) then try it in one of the black USB ports and see if that helps. If you're still getting static then I would try a different USB cable in the microphone just to ensure it's not that which is causing the issue. If you're still having trouble then I would return the microphone as I would presume it's a faulty unit. I hope this helps.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. From what I can see there's no difference between the two microphones. The only difference being that the A6T comes with a boom arm.
@@Andyhhhdx thanks for the fast reply! i am doing well. how about yourself? pulled the trigger on the a6t ,wich i got for under 50 dollars in my country 😁 looking forward to the delivery and use 😁

@@IsaiahxDaVinci It is a shame that you can't change the lights on it, but the A8 will let you do it. I think it sounds extremely good without any EQ but completely agree with you, put an EQ plugin for OBS and make it sound even better :)
