let's see for our reception per nation: - Mondstadt: welcomed/apprehended by Amber, mostly friendly - Liyue: neutral until we were suspected of deicide, then a bit bumpy - Inazuma: pick a fight with the archon almost immediately, she declares us public enemy #1 - Sumeru: pretty nice until the Sabzeruz festival, kinda fucked from that point on - Fontaine: Furina immediately tries to grandstand us (and fails spectacularly, thanks Lyney)

hi, the power the other people used to "cleanse" the wayob was actually just elemental energy, the traveller was doing the cleansing and everyone else was sort of helping to "recharge" the wayob
Iv seen so many players hate on capitano forgetting 1. he wasn't going full out power yet and 2. he was doing that good with ice powers against a fire god. And they say he was running away at the end when he wasn't , we saw that he got back up to fight before he was taken away by someone . He aloud himself to be wisked away for a reason. The fight was amazing both of them were so cool. I am wondering about this archon and how she's a war mongering wretch as venti called her once before

Well firstly he didn't use his delusion (unless the cryo IS his delusion but I doubt it) and he wasn't using full power, it felt more like a test to see how strong mavuika is and he wanted to push forward but the dust cloud appeared and he got taken away so no hate needed lol! a little note about the Night Kingdom. the whole place is basically a realm of subconcious manifested into the world. everything happened in it "defy" what can happen in Teyvat bcs to be able to do things in it you must have a hell of a lot "strength of will". hence why Iansan specifically said the one who rescued Traveler and co was Mavuika's conciousness. Her will manifest her "physically" inside "the realm of will". if you remember what happened in Simulanka, the Traveler and co also did similar thing with Durin like in this archon quest. the difference being in Simulanka they granted a new form to Durin while here they "cleanse" the Wayob. The Wayob are Spirit of Natlan that watches over 6 tribes, makes sense you can only "cleanse" it by "willing it to cleanse" with elemental energy they have. the reason they can't cleanse the whole realm is bcs... do you expect five or so people able to clean garbage patch on pacific ocean? no you can't. that was the whole purpose of the Pilgrimage. Natlan people have been cleaning up Abyss for centuries lest it crushes "the realm of will" that made them able to fight Abyss and be resurrected.
My theory is that much of the Pyro Archon lore is probably explained by Venti back in Mondstadt, who implies that one of the goals of Celestia is to get people to ascend to Celestia via visions. My guess is that the Pyro archon being a mortal is some kind of half state between the two. I get why most people wouldn't remember things like that since it wasn't relevant since the launch of the game. Natlan is finally starting to bring everything together, and I'm so down for it. It's about time this happens in the story.
So Mualani (and Kachina and Kinnich) actually do glow like in that one cutscene during gameplay, its actually a part of their gameplay called "Nightsoul Blessing" but the main thing is it seems to trigger when they are like surfing on their shark or riding their drill, etc. But yea it looks very neat and I assume the other characters this region will have something similar? Also I may be misunderstanding myself, but for Kachina ending up in the Night Kingdom I think she actually did physically die? Cuz they didn't fight the Abyss there, Iansen seemed to be saying she had never seen the Night Kingdom before. So I think Kachina, and all Ancient Name bearers, are sent there after being killed. I guess that makes me wonder if the Archon's resurrection also just opens a portal directly to the Kingdom? Since it seems Kachina was able to walk out and also be "resurrected" that way too. Not sure if they will address that or just brush over it lol.
Seeing Mavuika doing so much for Natlan and helping us so much just makes me even more worried for her she has already sacrificed more than Egeria and Focalors and we are not even halfway through the story
I'm so happy with Natlan. I absolutely love the environment, the music, the new exploration mechanics and the characters look great. The whole theme of ressurection and ascension to archonhood is also interesting and could explain things going forward lorewise. Like why would Celestia agree that the Pyro Archon Seat couls be attained by human heroes? Also, is this not the whole point of Visions? People who gain visions have the potential to ascend to celestia. This might not be the same as archonhood but still, it's very interesting!
When you mentioned that if you were able to say "no" to helping the Archon; it reminded me that HSR had some moments like that where you could just end the game there. You should look up some videos about it.
Actually there was never a Murata in history, that was a mistranslation. What is mentioned in the manga is the name of a tribe, Muratan, not a person. In the original language they never mention Murata, just the tribe

SEE my new theory is that capitano could be a hero that's had this memory awakened which is why he knows about the promise 500 years ago and decided not to go along with it and mavuika doesn't know he is one of the 6 heroes as she knows the names of the chosen NOT the person who has that name 👀 that's my theory lol which I kinda hope is true XD

Btw Tepoch's hair kinda looks like the hair that is visible from capitano on the front but a bit longer, coz capitano is too cool for haircuts. Btw regarding ur desire for more evil harbingers, i feel like the fatui are anti heros, I think they are seeking this long term good, but do it in shitty ways, and few people talk about how it was the Jester who ordered Dottore to commit Taratasuna so I think the Jester is very evil, hes all for Dottore's evil experiments.
I feel they need to make villains playable as villains. Its a game they can still be evil and still allow us to summon them without sacrificing their villanous nature.

I don’t think the abyss twin would show up. The way The Abyss is being talked about feels different than The “Khaenri'an” part of The Abyss. The way they talk about this Abyss it sounds like a living entity that’s corroding away Nathan. It’s almost sounds comparable to the forbidden knowledge that King Deshtr unleashed on the desert. It’s doesn’t help that like the desert(and chasm) there’s a celestial nail in The Night Kingdom🥴
If Mavuika doesn't come with a flying ability in her kit, I'mma be disappointed. Like 80% of her fight against Capitan Crunch was in the air, flying like it's nothing. Hoyo better give us flying.
i mean. ningguang was floating in archon quest. dare i say almost-fly, had summoning circle and then sent what might as well be barrage of crystal missiles and yet we didn't get a sliver any of that action in playable ningguang. don't hang your expectation too high.

I'm hoping it might even come with Chasca. The tribe which she's a part of, The Flower Feather tribe, seems to have those Qucusaurs(flying saurians) as companions and just like what we've seen so far, the initial characters usually have abilities in common with their saurian companions. Kachina with Tepetlasaurs Mualani with Kuhulasaurs Kinich with Yumkasaurs So since Chasca is the only character we've met from the Flower Feather tribe, she might have abilities closely related to the companion saurians. Not to mention she was also raised by Qucusaurs and her design is heavily influenced by them. And to top it all off, she's anemo which are usually based on movement.
There's a misunderstanding here. First we learn that Kachina died in battle. The Archon can't resurrect her. And then they drag her out of the Night Kingdom alive.
To be fair, Mavuika sacrificed her mementos to project her consciousness to smash a hole into the Night Kingdom's firmament to bring them all back so... We can safely assume the Ode of Resurrection somehow kicked in then and there for Kachina. It is a bit weird tho, yeah.
Night kingdom is NOT the Abyss. Night kingdom is where the Wayob is and where the people who died in war will go before getting resurrected. But this time it was infiltrated by the Abyss that's why they cannot get Kachina from the Night kingdom through Ode of resurrection
@@inferius3389 yeah I wonder about that, so did Kachina look like herself because she hadn't been there very long or did the ode to resurrection kick in bringing her back but she was trapped in the night kingdom and how does that work? Also if mavuika came back that way how? Did the previous Archon walk in and get her? As it had been 500 years how was her soul not part of the night kingdom by then? I have questions haha
1) The night kingdom is a substitute leyline, in other words its meant to help elemental energy flow and help the people living there to keep their memories like irminsul roots do. 2) It’s been corrupted, the wayob is also a type of night kingdom consciousness similar to how Nahida and the greater lord were aspects if irminsul. 3) The ode of resurrection seems to be a way of gathering elemental energy through piety as to not exhaust the power of the sacred flame, however this point is not important as its mainly treated narratively as just a ritual. 4) The way to revive someone in Natlan is to go to the night kingdom and pull them out, Mavuika tends to do this by just going into the sacred flame which would kill her thus sending her to the night kingdom as well. She then uses her powers as Pyro archon to brute force herself and the dead back to the land of the living. The reason the Ode is possible seems to be within the fact that the leylines dont really exist in natlan and as such the souls dont flow that much or as quickly within the night kingdom unlike in leylines which would create a “limbo” or “waiting space” while you wait for your consciousness to be ground into oblivion. The last sentence was speculation but its based on previous knowledge and quests like HuTao’s story and the various leyline disorders we see in game.

Pyro Archons in Natlan are all humans😅 There's no Gods in Natlan. The difference between Furina and Mavuika is that Furina or even all Fontainians are not fully human not before Neuvillette granted them full humanity when he got his hydro authority back. They are oceanids in the form of a human. Mavuika and all the past pyro archons on the other hand are fully human who ascended to archonhood.
