Your daughter seems very advanced for her age .. especially linguistically and emotionally. I think that young girl is going to do great things in the future.
Oh,so cute, cutest girl, I remember when I first saw your vlog back in 2016 she was only infant at the time, now she big girl, I love watching your vlog.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Summer is round the corner. Siargao will be rebuilt quickly. The landscape may have changed but as my elders always say…nature gives more than it takes. Soon you will find the bounties of nature after the storm. Stay safe and belated merry Christmas and happy new year.
The only way I can help you is not to skip the ads. Been a fan since your lockdown in the Philippines. Keep the faith! Greetings from Yolanda Survivor in Ormoc City, Leyte ❤️
Just shut up and help, if you really want to help from the bottom of your fake heart,,, you don't need to brag your inadequate kindness... You don't need peoples validation, just be yourself and do good deeds and true kindness without letting anyone or anybody know what you did.... That's the true essence of kindness.
We have been following your vlogs, especially about Typhoon Odette. *My Arab mom was so shocked at the typhoon's strength* because she has not seen anything like it. They even started watching and supporting Sanne after seeing her in your video. I really hope you guys recover real soon. 💓
@@dantesalazar7805 Thank you for clarifying po. I gathered from the full name that he has Arab blood po. My grandfather has the same name as Kuya Jay po, just a different variation in English spelling. That's why po, being half-Pinoy has taught me that appreciating people for who they are is the key to peace of mind, and not base it where their passports or parents come from, or color of skin or religion or gender.
@@senseiquickbooks4588 Did you know if they donated money or not to the affected people in their community? Nobody knows but I believed they do judging from their characters,
@@senseiquickbooks4588 Pessimist detected. You are such a ray of sunshine aren't you? You probably know next to nothing this RU-vid channel don't you. 😂😂😂
Truth hurts right?.. its been more than 2 weeks of them updating 😅 and complaining about stuff thats already obvious like no electricity, water and signal and bad living conditions lol. If they indeed helped why not show in their vlogs? Im just saying my obervations... You got triggered when hit with facts..
@@senseiquickbooks4588 You do realize that these are delayed vlogs from 3rd to 4th week of December right? What's obvious now wasn't obvious when they were shooting it. This was just a week after the typhoon. They literally just got phone signal as mentioned in the vlog. Why don't you get off your ass instead and help people if you think you can do better.
Poppy is having a good time doing his own playing time on the bed 🛏️ ah! You deserve it Story, I wish it can remove all the bad memory of the past typhoon 🌀😙🥰👨👩👧🙏
OMG you graced us with 3 videos in 1 day, it is always a pleasure to let us have a peek in your daily lives. Despite the challenges after the typhoon, you have stayed positive, Story has been radiating happiness and hope which is very inspiring ❤️ Prayers for emotional healing for you 8MFH family 🙏
Enjoy the positivity in Stosuch a happy child full of life and joy in a simple life after the typhoon..xhe has the best mom and dad ,who have been teac hing her the best attitude and love too for everything..
If you do decide to stay in Siargao, you now have the great advantage of knowing what it is like to have a storm like Odette and therefore prepare for it appropriately. I noted that your house did not lose its roof. That is a positive thing. But now I am sure Jay will be challenged to think of how to come up with a house that is typhoon proof... Glad to see the family recovering their spirits; this is what many Filipinos go through in their lives...
You’re both a good parents bcoz you can see Story is still happy child, you both managed to keep her happy even after those odds that happened. All of you are included in our prayers. May god bless all of you & keep protected. Stay safe from ireland.
I am happy for you guys, you were able to celebrate Christmas. Story's smile is priceless. We can celebrate a much more better Christmas next year. We love you guys.
Wow! The Universe certainly knew what it was doing when it aligned the stars for you two to come together... Had tears in my eyes... Even with extremely difficult times.. Your auras shine... Sending bunches of love 💚
Hi, Jay, Sacha and Story! I’m glad to see you all safe, smiling and full of hope and positivity despite of all the hardship you have experienced caused by this typhoon. You’re now adopting Filipino resiliency.👍 I am retired teacher already and the only way I could help your is to always view your vlogs with out skipping the ads and to pray for your family 🙏 God bless and see you all on your next vlog😘❤️
Unconsciuosly what makes you happy is your daughter Story…her actions are what made you smile and cheered up…be like a child and this problems will soon go away..everything will pass sooner than you think…goodluck and always take care…
Hi guys, I’m a new subscriber( since Odette!) and I already feel like I’m part of your journey/struggle … although I’m from Cebu, it was the right decision not to go to Cebu ( if you’ve never been and new to the province) it is also devastated and have bigger struggles than Siargao. Mindanao would be a better bet, if you know somebody , however if things don’t pan out there… I am offering a place in our house in Panglao, Bohol … it’s newly built, has a second floor with 3 en-suite rooms and my husband who lives alone in the main floor…he was supposed to come back to Toronto last 12/19th but obviously had to stay back for needed ( cosmetic repairs, thank God!) Let me know if this is something you could be open to and we’ll see what we can work out… ( for free😌!)
Hello, guys ! You're very much welcome here in Negros Occ.. Experience the little comforts we can offer. We'll be very glad to offer you our hospitality.
You are getting the resilience of the Filipinos ..Behind the clouds the sun is shining .Everything is gonna be ok with bayanihan both from local and National groups.Power on!
There is hope for all.. Siargao and its people will recover soon... it will be green again all over... you will experience Filipino resiliency... Don't lose hope... things will be straightened soon.. thank you 8Miles for your strength, patience, perseverance.. praying for you..
That's smile of Story said it all.....priceless....just hang-on there Jay and Sacha...be strong and positive...God bless...and many thanks to Alvarez family...
So happy you received this love from the Las Palmas family . We recently went through severe riots here In Durban ,SA, and eventhough it was so frightening ,the response and unified rebuilding from the people 'on the ground' was so heartwarming. The community spirit there in Siargao seems so strong too. 🤗🙏
This made me tear up. I am happy that you guys had some kind of normalcy for Christmas. I saw your posts on ig too, I'm glad things are slowly getting better. Just remember, wherever you decide to go, you will always have our support. Stay safe and God bless. We will continue to pray for your healing and recovery. 💕🙏
Happy family. The resilience resonates. My mom would always say, It's Christmas Everyday, that's why she nicknamed me ICE. It can be delayed because of the unforeseen things that are beyond our control. Sacha is right, something to be grateful for that they are all together and safe. God bless your family.
So glad to see you celebrate christmas 🎄Story is such an adorable, brave and positive little girl. You did an amazing job teaching her the best values. I love the episode about someone giving her 1k for her bday and you taught her the value of money ❤️will continue to support you, whether you stay in Siargao or leave for a place with the basic amenities like water/ electricity. Keep safe 🙏🏼 Not skipping ads 🌷
Yes stay little bit more days there, so you may think hindred times whats your plans. People around are still kind treating you so good. I knew you people there are figjters, tough and resilient and were pretty sure that when siargao rise? It will be much good, better and much more beautiful than before! God has a purposed in everything happened. Cheer up and continue to fight for life, love you more guys!
Am so glad how filipino spirit lifted you guys on Christmas day...thank you for trying to be positive despite being traumatized by odette...story is totally awesome! Still very active and happy! And she seemed to be musically gifted as well...am so glad that filipino spirit of bayahinan is seen in desperate times, kindness and love is evident as well! May our Lord bless you all and be assured that we will support your family wherever you guys decide to go...we totally understand...my prayers is that you will be guided with your plans and praying for everyone affected by odette...
I love this family. Down to earth and loving. Praying for your safety. Whatever decision you're about to do we will support you guys. I'm happy to see story being positive all the time. God bless you child!! Sending virtual hugs to you guys! Keep safe!!
I been constantly checking you guys if you post a new Video.. I'm patiently waiting. I'm so addicted with you Vlogs. God Bless. Hope you find a comfortable temporary place, till Siargao goes back to be a livable and comfortable home again.
I watched your past vlogs, every time I see you crying I cried also, but today just happy to see you all opening Christmas presents, especially poppy and story, hold on guys everything will be ok,praying always for you and to all the survivor of typhoon odette, keep safe everyone,God Bless
It will be summertime in a couple of months, so no matter how devastated Siargao was, people will still love to visit that beautiful place during summer, and soon Siargao will again be thriving
Always looking forward to new vlogs from you. Keep strong. You survived and I’m so relieved that you still find it in your heart to smile despite the bad experience. I hope you’re not disheartened by what has happened, and will continue to live there. Whatever you decide, we will still keep watching your vlogs. Siargao will recover, as has Tacloban after Yolanda. Power on, Eight Milers!
Group hug guys, belated Merry Christmas. Hope your new Year was even more upbeat and blessed. Glad you have seen first hand the warmth and resiliency of Filipino spirit. It is indeed an outstanding trait. And you have it in you. We continue to hope things will be much better for the Lord promised the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former. He does allow things to be shaken so that what remains is eternal. You are in our prayers. The Lord surround your family with favor as with a shield. Peace and blessings!
i would like to congratulate you guys amidst the pandemic and the typhoon that you have just gone through... the congratulations is for experiencing what Christmas is truly about here in PH..... the spirit of sharing and loving especially on tough times... that is probably one of the reason why here in the Philippines, we would celebrate Christmas season the longest... Merry Christmas to your family and have a 2022 of smiles, laughter and cheer.
You are still very fortunate to have a little something for Christmas. That I am happy for Story but feeling very sad for others who lost everything. Other children do not even have anything to eat and proper roof on their head. Embrace the blessings you have. Stay positive. All will be better soon.
Great to see poppy having fun opening her X-mas present.Happy to see you celebrating Christmas even in this tough times of calamity. Wow Story such a brilliant kid of her age. Love watching her playing the Ukelele.Power on guys things will gt better.

Pls stay the same and continue to vlog and be optimistic whether youre leaving the country or staying here. 🙏

I'm happy seeing you guys smiling ☺.. I'm hoping that in my little way I can help to ease the trauma, the pain and sadness you encounter from the typhoon... Love you 8 miles from Home 🏡
Hi guys. I have been watching for just the last week and we’ve fell in love with little’ Story ‘ and you’ve made me smile so much, cry so hard and I have subscribed as it’s the only way we can help. I congratulate you on such a great job of how well Story is coming on. She’s such a clever and polite and respectful little soul. I’m sending my love from our family to yours 🥰
Story is precious! I started watching your videos when you lived in Portugal and she wasn’t even 2 yet (cried my eyes out with the birth vlog) It’s amazing to see her blossoming and how during such a difficult time she’s still herself. Seeing the world through her eyes is priceless 😍 Thank you for sharing your life with us!
It's nice you where able to celebrate Christmas with a smile ☺️😁 and thanks to the rest house hotel for their hospitality.. blessings are coming slowly..be positive and God is watching you all..🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️ Keep safe..
Poppy is just happy opening the gift, the same goes with Story. It is we who decide whether our lives would truly be happy or not. No matter what our surroundings would be if we know how to cope up and accept it, life would be great and nothing to worry about. Imagine if you were on a cruise, a storm hits and you were stranded alone in an island with absolutely nothing, but the situation there is a lot different, too much more than nothingness. When life before was simple, no electricity, no utilities but people managed to survive. People learned to live and build. I experienced living with no electricity for years and I managed to survive. I eat and sleep early and wake up early too, just relying on the sun's light, no gadgets, no electrical appliances, just simple living. I think it is time that we learn how to live with the basic necessities. Well, I guess it is ok if you would take this time to go on a short vacation, (perhaps about two weeks) to explore some other province. Poppy could stay for a while with the neighbor. I don't think it would take two years to rebuild. That would be too long. If there are families in the island who would be willing to stay, I guess there is life in the island. Coconut trees are not known for being the tree of life for nothing. As long as there is even one business which is open there, the place is worth staying. Perhaps, you could ask the restaurant owner where they get their drinking water and have some delivered in your place.
ur becoming a filipino wat ever problems may come just be positive and smile no worries everything gonna be ok...thats normal to us filipino... take care guys...ur in good hands... =)
Story is so appreciative of every little thing. Such a joy watching a child her age opening a present and oohing and wowing on everything. Most kids would open up presents and if it is not a gadget, would just toss the present aside. Great job on raising her❤️. Happy New Year to your Family and praying you will be okay soon and life there will be back to normal. Stay safe always.
On my opinion. I think it is alright to have a decision to move for now and find a place where your family can recover from that trauma brought by the typhoon. The place will recover and heal, but it will take time. You shown us already how you love the place and the filipino people, but your family deserves to enjoy life, travel and see more beautiful places. You also have that big heart of helping the community. Coz I feel , the emotional stress and fear be there for now. Your family deserve to be happy and you already help a lot. Please take care and Happy Holidays to all of you. I appreciate the thought that in every decisions you make, you always consider Poppy, this shows how good your family is. Big hug to your family all the way here in Saudi. I love the dates, what is the name of that? I will try to find it here in saudi to try.
Glad to see your family is now recovered fr the experience of ty odette, esp your little girl, that was a very scary experience esp to the kid,you guys are so strong,God bless always❤️❤️❤️
I was born and raised in Surigao and I know how devastated to experience a typhoon and earthquake. But being a resilient Filipino we survive after the typhoon hit in Surigao 57 years ago. I was 13years old then and still vivid until now that I’m already 70 years old. All the houses in our community was flattened including school and church no food and water for two days but we survived. In 1964 typhoon, lots of lives lost but typhoon Odette was different and houses are built stronger than before. I cried when I saw your vlogs because it reminds me back in November 1964. Happy New Year to your family and be safe 🎆🎉🎈❤️🙏❤️
