It really nice and comfortable. I would like to try the simms fry creek because it’s 100 percent water proof but it comes at a price and not as many storing locations. I’m stoked on the Dakine though 🤙🏼
The only thing I don't like is the color. I prefer the old Dakine cooler bags that are blue.If they could make it with the older material they would be perfect for fishing
I have the older style cooler backpacks. Both the small and large. I was a fan of the color scheme but they were not the cordura material. The materials used on this are stronger and more tear and water resistant. Overall I’m happy with this but I wish it was fully waterproof. Thanks!
I definitely recommend it. Best hip pack I ever owned. Last session I ended up falling in and it actually kept my stuff dry but if you hold it under water it will eventually take on water. I gotta be more careful 🤙🏼
I think so. I feel like there is a lot of options with anchor points as well as plenty of room. I’ll sometimes bring a Tupperware to store plugs and put them inside of pouch. Or I pack them loosely without any hooks and add the hooks after I get to the spot. Definitely love this pack. I just wish it was waterproof 🤙🏼
Thanks! I actually fell in last week and most compartments stayed dry. It also kinda helped me float which was cool. But if it’s under for more than a few minutes it will probably take on water. Simms makes one called dry creek and it’s fully submersible. Although it is more expensive 🤙🏼🤙🏼
