Ah man that sounds awesome, I remember when Disney got the rights to X-men/Fantastic Four the first thing Marvel did was start releasing X-men & FF comics again so if they really wanted to they could do this Vs Capcom Legacy collection.

It's my understanding that Disney owns *all* of Marvel including Spiderman, Venom, X-Men, Marvel Cinematic Universe, etc. So Capcom just needs to discuss this over with Disney basically and also PlayStation to get them to do a compilation disc that has arcade perfect versions compiled on 1 disc with GGPO online that has: - X-Men vs. Street Fighter - Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - Marvel vs. Capcom - Marvel vs. Capcom 2 My experiences with the older "vs" (the Marvel ones) is: -- PS1 -- - X-Men vs. Street Fighter - Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter - Marvel vs. Capcom -- Saturn -- (friend's house, he was lucky and had the Japanese system and games) - X-Men vs. Street Fighter - Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter -- DreamCast -- (friend's house) - Marvel vs. Capcom - Marvel vs. Capcom 2 -- PS2 -- Marvel vs. Capcom 2 -- PS3 -- Marvel vs. Capcom Origins I don't have any of those older systems anymore and at the moment I just have a PS4 with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (on disc; GameStop exclusive) and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. After Capcom released the 30th Anniversary Collection for PS4, that's when I really really wanted and wondered why we don't have a "vs" collection. I mean after how poorly Capcom did Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite and basically stopped doing the DLC half-ass, it makes me wish they would *at least* do a collection and then actually do that rumored Marvel vs. Capcom 4.

It's funny max references the EX Games with DHC as in Japan the PS1 Marvel VS. Games are called EX. So X-MEN VS. Street Fighter EX Marvel VS. Street fighter EX and Marvel VS Capcom EX. They were versions especially made for ps1 limits from ground up. So they aren't arcade ports they had to do everything all over again.

Ken looks best when he looks like a girl from the Alpha series or when he looks like a straight up man like in Third Strike. We never go banana hair.

Technically, he has his Street Fighter II/III hair in this game. Pay attention to his sprite in Ryu's intro and ending, Ken doesn't have a ponytail and is a bit wilder than his Alpha sprite.

Oh, you could play as Onslaught in the Dreamcast version. You had to unlock all the other secret characters. He was his own sub-mode: Onslaught mode. Effectively a variant of Survival mode.

I honestly hate mvc2. People. Would just spam assist sentinel and Dr.doom and the screen would be filled with projectiles. This was when the vs. Series was at its best

@@monkeypaw09 Its funny cause me and my friends would always play MvC2 for fun and it was a blast cause we never saw Doom/Sentinel/Cyclops/Storm. It becomes a really fun game and less repetitive when you take those characters out.

The huge roster and UI design was NICE but much like Capcom vs SNK 2, the switch to 3D stages wasn't my cup of tea! 😫

totally! i'd make teams for the lore or bc of established best friends status, like ryu + cyclops and akuma + wolvey in Xmen vs SF, the shoto beam team in MVC2 (ryu, akuma, dark sakura), and androids 17 + 18 + 16 (DBFZ)
