What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for RU-vid, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! - You don't absolutely need the feed - you can just give locusts to the turkeys, potatoes to the capi's. bait a small trap with locust near a baby turkey to lure it in, then just pick it up out of the trap and release it in your turkey pen (just make sure you have food and water ready in the pen). Same with capi's - bait with a potato, place a medium trap near the tiny capi's. For monkeys, nuts work great as bait, in the small trap. - The grinding table is used for most alchemical materials - When it says water collected but you don't have a container, it just means you drank water - Fireflies - make a firefly net, go after them when you see the sparkles light up at night. - Interdependence - some folks have claimed that when you have pests in your crops, instead of pesticide you can grab a turkey from you turkey pen and release it among the crops to eat the locusts. Haven't tried that myself. Edit: Regarding the repair bench. A functioning alternative to repairing is scheduling - at your crafting bench, set up an order to have your crafter make 1 stone pick every hour (or however often you want them made). Have your miner toss broken picks. He'll toss the broken pick, then run and grab the new pick from storage. Once you have a capi pen and someone managing it, you'll have a regular supply of bone and you can change that order to 1 bone pick every hour.

To save time running around from bench to bench to figure out where something is crafted, just type the item in the search bar of any bench, then there's an option to view other benches. When you choose that, it will show you where it can be crafted. You can hover over the planted crops to see if they have enough of what they need to grow. Viewing the farmland shows you the max amount of each item it can hold.

The thing with the spear is, you need the Shield with it as well, so when you pull them, shield up straight away. Then hit them with the multi attack wombo combo.

If you like the bow just use both. The bow gets strong later with mask upgrades and when you level your skills to learn to new moves. Do whatever you like on your main character, and if you notice in their skill trees some people can get up to 120 on their skills while urs is maxed at 50-60 as a player. It's good to Control your tribesmen and use them by their perks they are proficient in. So you can use bow while your followers are tanks, vice versa. It's good to understand how each weapon works because you can use different things for different types of fights. The bug stuff is made in one of the cooking or medicine benches, you can also loot it from the larger camps from breaking their jars and boxes. It's for when weeds grow on your field, also you can catch pest from them with a net Also you can loot seeds and crops from tribal camp farms Walls are recommend at some point to keep ur tribe safe depending on if you have raids enabled. They can kidnap your people apparently Making the animal farm is fine now and use them for the poop issue. As far as I'm aware the feed may be specialized but you can feed them just potatoes in the trough at first, it's just less efficient. In the hunting menu it shows what each animal likes to eat

Great bronze bow completely stagger locks/drains the saber boss. Not to mention its one shot capability on most other targets at lvl 25 range. I carry both bow and great bow with dual blades and it slaps.

Purple Gloves in the chest... you're not wearing any gloves... You might want to repair those and use them. I also think you can equip tribe members with armor and weapons. Might want to find a new tribe member that has strong combat skills. Set them up and bring them along. At the very least they have their own storage, so that's a lot more loot when you're farming up resources.

For the repair bench I find I need to hit "Space" to start the repair. If the materials are there already it will repair straight away for me, or if I step away then the assigned person will go and get the materials and then repair the item. Just leaving it in the bench doesnt start the process.

You are going to want to move your base closer to the tin and copper mines.....fair warning( I have to do that today lol) get your mount asap for moving. Do not start a farm or animal husbandry yet.

They may not be repairing things because they need handles, which they won’t make unless you tell them. That could be the issue

As for feces... if you use the small traps on monkeys, bring them to your base they will randomly drop feces on the ground.

Hey, I love your honesty. You missing stuff isn't bad; it lets the devs know something needs improvement or clarity. It also comes across as being someone exploring along with everyone else instead of just trying to demonstrate the latest meta configurations. The only other way I see this type of stuff is if I am watching a livestream. You are different; I get that stream like feeling but much shorter content with just the best parts.

you may need to expand the Bonfire Shelter for more room to host your tribe. Sharp Fangs should be an option on some weapons to boost damage or bleeding when hit.

While it's fresh. Press spacebar on the repair table. That works for me. It will trigger the assigned worker to come do repair stuff. Not sure if that is intended but 100% works for me every time.

Going back to Ep5 when you were looking at your mask nodes. If you go back down under the Core Functional Module to Memory Unit - Fighting, where you saw the boost to gauntlet prof. growth rate, you can follow that to the right to Dual Blades and upgrade your prof. growth rate for that weapon type instead. I believe you need may need at least one point in Fighting to access the rest of the weapon types, which would be weird, but I already had a point in Fighting when I noticed so I can test if it is possible to to skip it and go directly over to your preferred weapon. Its only like 3 green crystals though, so if its a requirement then its not expensive.

I don't use the spear at the start of combat like that. I find it good for early game hunting when boars like to run away from you. Just do the spear to finish them off and pull them back to you :D

You need the Rich mask if you want to stick with bow. Spear and shield is the way to go otherwise. Pull them in, block, and then devastate with the spear.

There is a product that sprays scents in the air to simulate games better. If you had it, you would know when the outhouse was used.

Could also use thrown weapons, javelins are like spears. :P Granted, all ranged seem to mostly be based off Perception so regardless you might want to build it up some. Also either with bow or thrown, ammo will be an issue to work around be it arrows, javelins, axes, daggers or harsh words.

Yes, this is why you nedet a this small tier. Tier for a feces for moor powder for moor crops for moor plants and, .... This cykle is super easy, bad a start is propably a little confused. :D

Kage if you open your tab inventory type whatever item you looking for, it will show underneath other workstations recipe click it and take you straight to the bench its on

use shield with spear.....just pull your enemy and if they hit back just block with shield

if you search the crafting recipes, instead of the tech tree, you can find ingredients... so if you look for, say, "tomato", it will show all recipes that require tomatos... as for crafting needs... it would be nice if it shows how much you have in the chests, but if you hover over the little status icon in the crafting table, it shows if something is missing... so if you don't have tanning fluid it will say "missing tanning fluid"... if you have it somewhere in the chests tho, it will just say "waiting for caretaker"

Kage you did not set the items to be repaired - after puting them in crafting area you need to press space bar to initiete the proces only after that anvil and hamer icon will show indicates that those items were set for repair if thre are no necesery materials for it and the person asigned for it will start work. There shold be descriptin on right batome side of the screan for space bar - for some reason we all ignore those

the NPC will pick the materials from the chest themself, i think kage is missing the "press spacebar" to tell the npc to repair the tools.

be carefull. everything is open in your base.... there are wandering barbarians they will catch one of your tribemens.... i had this already 2x times. the first time i was not prepared and it was only one.... now the 2nd time was coming 2. but i won.... i hope the next time comes not 3 or mor
