Honestly I really would love to see a lot more ability matches.. but like could you guys cut out the chip munching, mic breathing, ceaseless giggling.. I couldn't finish it man.. I think it's cool you guys are having fun not trying to be a downer, but the audio is too much

All they needed to do was have an option in competitive mode to keep abilities on. Guess that was too complicated... Yknow, like letting player two use your gear -_-

Some of you guys are really overreacting to this comment lol. Yes, the moves are obviously broken it doesn't take a genius to notice that. But the moves were never properly balanced in the first place because NRS knows that practically nobody uses them so why bother? If they had inserted it into the competitive scene more uniformly than maybe those moves wouldn't be so broken and we could have a cohesive variation system.

@@alarminglyfastmovingskelet7289 looking back on this comment after MK11. It's a really neat idea and if they committed to balancing more to make more things viable it would've been amazing. But because I feel MK11 was left somewhat less finished than it should've been. I hope if they do it again it's better. Custom abilities are fun and some of the abilities in injustice 2 were over the top nutty lol. Hellboys abilities were wild.

Yes. Abilities are making this game very atractive to watch. These players are still doing same combos and after while its boring. With these abilities you can finally see something different. I'm playing only player matches because i want use my abilities and ofc my legendary gear. Gear is one of the main part of this game so why I can't use it? Its much more fun. These abilities are broken till you find how to eliminate them. And only because people like King of names got rekt from anyone with gear its not shit. Player matches are fun if you know all about abilities and what they are doing.
