Welcome to Sweet no death your classic pink & cutesy game that suddenly turns dark...or...wait, is it? Sometimes having a PERFECT life leads to some bad things Play the game - arcadekitten.i... edited by @UngracefulHuman
Dev here!! Oh my gosh, hi again!! It's such an honor to have you playing one of my games again!! You always deliver such fun commentary and make the game all the more fun to revisit!! Thank you SO much, it means so much to devs like me and I'm so incredibly appreciative!! Thank you for playing! ♥
This game was amazing, like actually great characters and storyline. I rll want to make fanart of lambchop, i find him so interesting, ill tag you on instagram when i do, is that alright?
Ya'll this hit hard because look at this paradox: -The world is unperfect -everyone hates living in a hurtful world -The world is made perfect -people hate having no meaning -the world is returned to being unperfect -pain and suffering harms people No matter what the world looks like never will everyone be happy. If we remove everything that plagues the universe it will make a new problem. We can strive towards better outcomes, but there will be another problem. Nothing can be perfect because everything being perfect is unperfect. (My brain hurts eesh lol)
The game is about the relation between good and evil, or black and white. I don't know how to explain this, but Stella is white, the hero. And every hero needs a villain, Lambchop, who is black. They have to even each other out. Kind of reminds me of a villain and hero, enemies-to-lovers trope lol
Personally, lambchop is kinda right, but also it isn't super similar. Stella wants to make everyone smile, and even if it is a little controlling, in the end, everyone is happy, and that's not too horrible. On the other hand, lambchop is killing, making everyone hurt. He isn't controlling, he's destroying. He's messing up the minds of the people he's with, and causing real trauma and pain. I can see how they're similar, but Lambchop is still in the wrong here. He could've just said something earlier on, before he went all crazy. If he told Stella that he wanted a slightly more "realistic" world, then Stella could probably provide, even if it means creating a separate town for Lambchop to live in.
Also, couldn't she have just used magic to rewire Lambchop's brain? Just make him happy, or at least not murderous If that doesn't work, there's always the possibility of erase and replace
@@justanothergamer64 the second ending is excatly that lol but the thing is replacing him is basically just killing him and planting a clone in their place so are you really a good guy if you do that?
@@legendofthe7stars fair, but if it leads to the happiness of all of your friends and an end to all the death, i wouldn't be opposed to doing whatever is necessary. I would prefer another option, but it is an option nonetheless
@@justanothergamer64 the ends do not justify the means, especially when your means include killing people you disagree with. no one died when Lambchop killed them and that's his point, she was making the world perfect to such an extreme that individualism died.
Arcade kitten has such a great artstyle and their really good at making the games look cute without making it look like a horror game thats why I love their games
Ooooh I love the way this game is written!! I’m curious as to how the other ending plays out but this storyline is so good! I love how it plays with the idea of there needing to be a villain for every hero. It’s so interesting! And lambchop’s feelings for Stella being warped by his new drive yet he can’t let go of them? Oh it’s so interesting
The other ending happens if you decide to leave at any moment before Lambchop finished his speech, Stella will replace Lambchop with a version of him with black wool and afraid of blood.
Who knows why she's crying considering we don't know what she and Lambchop said after it cut. on a surface level you could conclude she's probably just upset about what Lambchop did but thats only a guess. There is a small chance that he wasn't 100% out of his mind when he kissed her and that was a mutual thing. like I said though, no one will ever know thanks to Stella playing God.
Me too. Stella is the human in an animal world. She feels it's her duty to make that world perfect and painless, but in the end her friends are still wild animals
@@4F_G I would argue it was the most horrifying ending, as she decided it was better to kill people and place a copy of them in their place rather than just deal with her "friends" as living thinking people.
Man, I like how Mike's playing these horror-story games again. I miss the old days of Danganronpa so I'm glad we're slowly going back to these types of games. It's been awhile since I've been psychological traumatized on this channel.
I seen this game from manlybadasshero and i was instantly invested in the games world. Though I felt like both endings didnt feel right. One is litteraly called the wrong end and the other is just a stalemate. Out of all the characters Ruuuby has to be my favorite only because shes the only character who you get to know and isnt classified as a type of villain. I watched manlys video over and over hoping for a different ending. I even downloaded the game and scrounged through the files trying to find an ending that made more since. I found nothing exept a few stupidly hilarious typos in the code. "Lamcbhop" being one of them. Though back to the game itself I honestly want to strangle lambchop for traumatizing Ruuuby like that. Even if she dosent remember it. I dont get this invested in most games but even just the few times we get to see the characters so much is revealed about them and I can't help but feel bad for Ruuuby. I hope the games creator makes more games in this specific series these characters are lovable and I'd love to see this small world expanded upon.
Aracadekittens just go wild like that- "it's not me, it's my basement" is still on my mind, years later- I still wanna see dr.d light become the foster caretaker of embry, and embry a loving home bro Like- aracadekittens be crazy good in making you invested in characters _(and worlds)_
@@ascrinkleyfellow if we dont get a sequel to this in a few years i will personally learn to code and make a fanmade sequel. New characters?, Revenge?, Redemption?, More screen time for the 3 side characters and Ruuuby???, All of it will be a priority.
I like how Lambchop is somewhat right, in that they Stella's way of loving this world is by completely consuming it, just in a bit more of a metaphorical way than Lambchop.
So she made everyone happy. He wanted to do things to feel like a "person", not everything to be "perfect" etc, just to make life more interesting. So she let him, and now he's happy and that's the part he didn't want.
This is kind of like Genua in Witches Abroad, except Lilith wouldn't have tolerated Lambchop for nearly as long as this. And Lambchop might count his blessings if he saw what Lilith did to the "Big Bad Wolf."
2nd Ending Wrong End (baa, baa, black sheep.) If you don’t let Lambchop finish his speech, And go to sleep, there will be a black sheep instead of a white one at the shop. Talk to him and you get the Ending!
10:05 "You havs Jam left on your Face" *"It's blood!"* Oh... Well well, to the point... Lambchop is a killer... 27:15 Yeah... Same honestly... I agree with Mike, you would go Insane If everyone was Sunshine and Rainbows, you would go Crazy... The fact is... Bad things will happen... It's natural...
Not for me. I would like a world like Stella's, just only good, new things happen instead of the same "cupcakes and rainbows" trope. I can't deal with this world because too many bad things happen, and I do find it natural but I hate it, so I'm a mix of both Stella and Lambchop.
i just noticed that they put a non-binary character into the game! The squirrel/chipmunk says something abt lambchop not letting boys or girls allowed and they say their not either of those
Honestly, if i were a villain i would do what lamchop did "Oh is that ja-" "No its blood" "Wha- wym?" "I killed a person just now!" **staring intensifies**
0:12 it’s not me it’s my basement that is one of my favorite horror games even though I’ve never played it I have watched 1 million play throughs and I am so happy to figure out that there are a lot more from that dev ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Oh god… that’s deep. Stella thought Ruuuby liked lambchop but not the way she was thinking… She liked him as food. 😀 Edit: NVM 😔 she was forced to eat someone not him
