Stumbled upon Reinhard Mey when I began trying to learn German. What a great day that was. He is tremendous, and seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Love your reaction video!!!

I know Reinhard Mey since the 1970's and love all his songs. He has funny songs, serious and lyrical songs. He is a wonderful artist. I also love your channel and your reactions. God bless you!

He sung the title songs for several children movies in the gdr like "der Junge mit dem großen schwarzen Hund" (the boy and the big black dog). He often sung songs for kids and released different Albums. He's not just a musician but a modern bard.

When I was a kid in the 70s this guy was almost famous, nearly 50 years ago. And he seems not to have aged much, must be over 70 years now. Great Song, really touching. Love your stuff, btw real proper pronounciation, you are a Naturtalent.

I think Abscheuliches Lied für Abscheuliche Leute is one of his great songs it goes well with Volker Pispers another really great one is Alles OK in Guantanamo Bay.

Hi, danke das du der Welt zeigst was Deutschland auch hervorbringen kann. ich hätte da auch mal ein Lied "viel zu jung" von "Böhse Onkelz". ja ich weiß...."Aufschrei der Massen"..."die sind doch rechts","wie kann man sowas hören", "bist wahrscheinlich selber Nazi". Keine Ahnung ob die rechts sind oder waren ich kenn die nicht persönlich, ich höre meistens mit den Ohren, ich bin kein Nazi sondern Gothik, Otaku und liebe K-Pop. Bitte schau selbst bzw hör selbst ob es was für dich ist , am besten mit english lyriks, verstehen ist bei deren Liedern extrem wichtig. "viel zu jung" handelt von einem Mädchen das sexuell missbraucht wurde.... und ich für meinen Teil kenne kein anderes Lied das so ungeschönt damit umgeht und der Song ist von 1995. da gab es noch kein MeToo.
