Wtf, 2 days ago I also got simultaneous shiny mareeps when going for the whole line. Also, the shiny odds are a bit diffent. Ill be on the generous side with starting assumptions (to make the chance as small as realistically possible): - 1 full sandwich worth of hunting - Spawn rate is conisdered roughly equal to 2 sets of on-screen pokemon per minute - There's an average of 12 pokemon per on-screen set. According to Serebii, shiny odds under the conditions in the video are 1/1024.38, which is probably not exact but a closer approximation so i'll use that. The number you found, 1/1048567, is the approximate odds of the very first 2 sandwich-boosted mareeps both being shiny. Using a binomial distribution, the probability of a single on-screen set of 12 pokemon containing two *or more* shinies is about 1/16003. Using the first 2 assumptions, one would encounter 60 sets of pokemon throughout the hunt. Using a binomial distribution again, the odds of **at least** one on-screen set of pokemon having **at least** two shinies over the course of the hunt is about 1/267.2 *In other words, under generous assumptions, there's about a 1/267.2 chance that you get two shinies on screen at the same time in a single sandwich (with an isolated hunt, encounter & sparkle power 3, no shiny charm, and no outbreak).* But hey, for your second sandwich ever, thats still very lucky. People distort how lucky they get when they flaunt the odds of an isolated occurence without accounting for how many trials there were. The best way to measure luck is to consider the likelihood of the *entire course of events* to turn out in a way that *at least* as lucky as what had happened, *for the very first time* the course of events occurs.

With the Mareep, i had that happen with Cacnea! Was trying since i was on a friends game, she messed something up and had to leave so i just kept Cacnea hunting, so i found one before she came back on! And then another one spawned in the background. I somehow didnt think of taking a screenshot sadly, but thats probably the luckiest ive been so far

I found 3 shiny psyducks, 1 shiny murkrow, 1 shiny mankey. I wasnt even shiny hunting. I found 1 of the shiny psyducks in the first hour of playing, the second is i believe near Ionos gym. And the last one..was lucky. I was about to fly to a different area but i then checked around just in case. And what do i see.. a shiny psyduck. Mankey and murkrow just found them randomly but idk where. BTW. All of the shinies i found were full odds (No sandwiches, shiny charm or any of the techniques. ) Im insanely lucky but insanely unlucky at the same time.
