I love this. In a world where there seems to be so much evil, it makes me so grateful that there are so many good people out there who reach out to support this girl. I will always believe there are more of us than them. We just have to keep showing up and standing up for what is right and kind. Blessings on you all.

As someone who has been a victim of bullying, the people who stood up for the little girl are heroes to me.

That "You keep reading" part was very strong. While they're basically saying she's a freak for reading this giant of a human being tells her to keep on doing it so she shouldn't question the bullies. Props to all that stepped up!

I love how there were so many different ways people's skills and personalities could be used to help. The fierce ones who told off the bullies, the teaching ones who tried to help the bullies understand why it was wrong, the more conflict-averse ones who just gestured for her to come sit with them. All of those responses were good, and showed how those people used their own unique personality amd perspective to help

As a father, this made me emotional. This is one of the reasons that I constantly remind my kids of how wonderful they are and who they are as individuals and never let anyone convince them otherwise. I can't stand to see anyone being bullied, especially children. #ProtectOurYouth #NoMoreBullies

The amount of years I was bullied and no one spoke up when they saw it happen, not even my parents. I am so glad to see that people are speaking up, and I hope it becomes more normal.

I was trick or treating with my kids this year and noticed some high school kids bullying an autistic boy who I recognized from a local store. I stood close by to listen in as my 5 year old went to another house with his dad. My 11 year old stayed with me. even though he was confused as to what we were doing. As all of the kids laughed and walked away after telling this boy that he was annoying and to "get a life and meds and go find his mommy" my gut reaction was to confront them. I had some choice words to say to them ...But instead, since my son was with me, I caught up to the autistic kid and complimented his costume. He was dressed as a character from Dr who. We walked a few blocks together, he whole time me letting him tell me about his hobbies. We parted ways near my car and I turned to see my 11 year old almost in tears. I panicked. Until he hugged me and said that he was proud of me for being a good mom and an even better friend. I told him that I was proud of him for walking with me, deciding that that boy was more important that trick or treating. He rolled his eyes and said duh.

well that was tear jerking and heart rending! kudos to all three girls for their performances, and how hard it must've been to play that part convincingly several times over. and kudos to all those nice folks who spoke up in defense of the "bullied" girl.

All those people standing up for this beautiful child - God bless them. Bullying hurts deeply. I was bullied in high school because they all knew my father was an alcoholic. We weren't able to have a lot of clothes and couldn't afford to buy our lunch. It really hurt and I cried a number of times walking home from school. If you see some horrid children bullying someone - step up for that person being bullied, report the ones doing it.

Bullying can't be change in an already doomed society but it's really nice to see decent human beings. It's satisfying for a moment.

Last year, I got bullied and it was so hard, but thankfully the bully moved away, so now if I see anyone bullying anyone else, I know how it feels, so I’ll stop it, right here right now

after reading through many of the comments i discovered that this is an enormous issue but what really shook me was the fact that we still have many many people willing to step into the line of fire knowing they could be a target, yet they stand up anyway to do the right thing!! lesson taught, and learned! thanks!

I broke my bullies teeth today. The principal called my dad(who is in the military) and later my dad said he was proud of what I did.

I did experience some bullying in my younger years. I very rarely speak about it and now have two children of my own. I hope and pray that it never happens to them and on the flip side if it was my children doing the bullying I would take them the police station myself.
