This GLITCH Skips HALF THE GAME - Super Mario Bros. Wonder 

Bowser being susceptible despite having the protection of two Cloud Piranhas is like having two shells circling around you in Mario Kart and getting sniped by a skilled player.

You really took "Where should we go first? Why don't you choose?" to the next level

I’m extremely happy to see a skip this broken in such a modern Mario title

This might actually make it possible to do proper “[badge] only” runs with later badges by accessing these spots earlier. This is exciting.

Good stuff. I just watched a GrandPooBear video the other day where he lamented the lack of glitches in the game. Glad, though not surprised, to see that isn't the case. I loaned my copy to a friend after finishing, so I'll not get to play around with this for a bit.

Next thing you know, we are going to be able to skip worlds 4,5, and 6.

This is the first sequence break ive seen so far, and its HUGE! awesome find, wonder if we'll see anymore setups using this (maybe trying to bypass the wonder seed count requirement?)

This is that one glitch that every speedrun uses to save a ton of time, isn’t it. All Mario games must have one of those.

any% runs are actually going to be crazy

As soon as i saw that the game switches between fixed-path and unlocked movement, i immediately knew someone would break that somehow.

This blows my mind… it’s amazing that someone was able to find such a cool shortcut!

Tbh, it would have been kinda cool if the Cloud Piranhas were an optional boss you only face when you do this skip. It would kinda be like when you skip Guardians in BOTW.

it's interesting it doesn't play the wonder effect behind castle bowser growing either, i'm guessing it never got "turned on" since you skipped the 2nd world where he starts to generate it.

@Icay: If it does not get patch in the future, it could be in a seperate speed run category call any % glitch speed run, and if it does get patch that category only exist untill it gets patch. Also the reason why that happen his because of cut scene, you already got the cut scene for 4, 5, so the only cut scene left is 6. This will not happen in non-glitch run even thought you get to chose if you chose to do world 6 first before 5 and 4, you only get the opening cut scene to Bowser when you get the last one from 5 and 4. And by the way pedal island is world 7 since Bowser level as pedal island in their name, and the last royal seed. I know it is weird during normal game play you have to do a bit of world 7 in between each world. Special world is world 8 and they are no more world after that. some people my called the finial finial test world 9 but it is still part of special world and why called one level part of world 9 just because it is behond the special world map.

You can do the world 3 one by spamming the pause button while moving down and it should pause by the jump animation, you can do all of them like that

I guess 2p mode is rarely QA tested?

I love glitches, you know that? This is my first video i’ve watched of this game.

This is like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The final dungeon, Ganon's Castle, is floating in mid air surrounded by a pit and lava moat. The only way there casually is to use the rainbow bridge that spawns after collecting all the medallions (completing all the dungeons). However, you only actually have to complete the last 2 dungeons as that's all it checks for. You just shouldn't be able to complete them casually without having done the others first. This is odd because in the child section of the game, it tells you "just 2/1 more spiritual stone(s) left!" or something like that. There are a total of 3 that correspond to the child dungeons. Casually, it's impossible to collect them in any order besides [1, 2, 3]. Despite that, it does not assume you are done if you collect stone 3 first like it does with the Adult section.

If jump out of the map then open the menu and get rid of player 2 you will actually fall into white void and you are softlocked in the white void

Try this in the target demo, just to try to get into a different area in the game

It’s cool that’s we basically saw a normally unseen void at 2:46

It would of been funny if the talking flower and florian were confused and there was some type of anticheat message they would say like "huh, but bowser still has pirrana clouds! You must of cheated! Oh well, go on cheater!" and they both start calling you cheater and discouraging you. Like the devs expected a glitch so there could have been a anticheat joke idk.

When I read "You're stuck here now, so you need to warp back and repeat every step," I thought he meant including the first 3 levels of world 1.

It turns out that when you exit the game on Shining Falls and go back in, then the skip will no longer be possible. (I learned this the hard way 😭)

If you can exit Sunbaked Desert after glitching into it, all you’d have to do is play Maw Maw Mouthful and Gnawsher Lair to enter Deep Magma Bog, right? If you need to use the 2-player glitch again, you’d still bypass 5 worlds, no?
