Your videos are awesome! I learned a lot from your videos. I‘m driving a shifter kart but with an OTK so the physics are the same so I learned a lot to understand the OTK chassis with your videos!
5:27 As an American, I am team Rotax all the way. X30s make show off sounds and require obnoxious amounts of maintainance. That's not to say that Rotax isn't demanding in terms of maintainance, but X30s are another level.
its a common misconception that new = better. with how long rotax engines have been around the older the cylinder was made the fresher the mold it was made out of was. its why all the teams who bought out rotax in the early 2000s have all the best kit
The difference between the two engines is very negligible, with the very slightest edge going to the 2024. Will it be enough to make a difference? That would depend on track conditions and a lot of other factors.
