The Great Comet can be seen in the sky every 100 years. But it only stays for less than 12 hours before it disappears again. Each time it arrives it makes the firebenders much, much stronger than usual. That's why the firelord that started the war (Sozin). Didn't attack the Air Nomads before it arrived. Because he wanted to be 100% sure that he and his army would kill every last Air Nomad. After firelord Sozin "used" The Great Comet to begin the war. The people of the Firenation renamed it Sozin's Comet.

Alright, another ATLA LA reaction! There haven't been a whole lot of reactions from people who haven't seen the cartoon, so I'm looking forward to more from you. (My brother and his wife had never even heard of the cartoon and they LOVED the live action.)

@@riotr3x feel free to do that. Personally, I recommend dropping this show and watching the animated show right away. Pretty sure anyone in the fandom would agree with me, but at the end of the day it’s your channel !

@@jamescoconut1282 That's the problem with "fandom": not tolerating opposing views. I watched the cartoon when it first ran and have re-watched it a handful of times since and love it each time. There are some flaws with the live action, but none of them are because they aren't the cartoon. And I enjoyed the first season immensely.
