Goodwill was REALLY busy today, but it was an AMAZING trip. They were literally wheeling out a new cart of treasures about every 10 minutes, and sometimes 3 at a time! I found so many amazing items, my cart was ready to overflow!!!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Join me as I hit Goodwill for a Wednesday morning shop. Learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found two stunning Murano glass pieces, a Waterford Vase, a Pottery Barn Metal Dacshund (what a sleeper he turned out to be!) some Hearth and Hand Magnolia Collection Salad Plates, a glass cloche, a weird and wonderful bone sand timer and a stunning Nativity Set! Stay to hear an update on our new house.... and watch my haul featuring a very sleepy Bandit the cat, where I show you everything I found, what I paid and what I expect to get for it......so, lets go thrifting!

I am so amazed at the good will differences from one state to another....i am actually thinking of driving 6 hours to visit g.w. in PA. The differences are simply shocking. You are very fortunate to live in a state where seniors are a blessing and treated accordingly. Thrifting vegas tiffany has such a great eye for beauty and value. Such a pleasure to watch.

Did you not see all of the Blue and White Chinoiserie on the cart, that they rolled out?? Chinoiserie is really "hot" right now with interior designers. There were at least 5 beautiful pieces!!✨ Ever consider taking a (sturdy, recycled) bag with handles and some moving paper, so you can wrap the items yourself? It would protect your investment? I've had great success doing that for 15 years, and the employees appreciate the help. It keeps their lines moving, because they don't waste time wrapping items. Win-Win for everyone!💯 Good luck thrifting.👍

All the blue and white pieces were modern decorative "not for food use" Chinese pieces. I tend to steer clear of anything that is labelled that way, just to be safe. Thats a great idea, thank you, I will definitely start taking wrapping and bags with me. 😊💕

You did a great shop!! Love the 3 little elves and the trinket box with the name WREN on the bottom. The reindeer has the sweetest expression that takes me back to the 50’s (I wasn’t born until ‘62.). I have a ship wheel clock but yours is so much older and has the rope. Thanks!!😃

I do believe that the swirled item that you identified as "Murano" is actually Chinese glass. It is an item sold at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. The swirled bowl you identified as "Murano" I believe is Chalet glass or possibly also Chinese glass, but not Murano.

While made in China, some of these copies are actually attractive and appealing to those who want to pay less for Murano-style glass. I must say the copies have improved over the years. Still, there is a lot of vintage authentic Murano available - you just have to be in the right place to grab it.

I have the 2 reindeer & sleigh my mom made me over 25 years ago. I put them out for Christmas every year. Nice find. I have a photo of my son when he was 4 months old sitting in the sleigh with the reindeer in front, in front of my Christmas tree. My favorite photo. ❤️

Thoroughly enjoy watching your thrifting channel but it is almost always difficult to hear you. Is there a possibility you could record at a higher volume setting? I don't have an issue hearing any of the other in-store thrifting channels and even if I max out my volume your voice is still too soft. Just a friendly suggestion. I’m gratified to see you pick up hobbiest pieces. Most resellers don’t ( the ones I watch anyway). I realize they have to be selective in what they can make money on, but I would buy back things I used to make back in the day. ( I gave away sooo much of what I made)

I was totally worried about the Murano glass swirl. I would've bought it pronto and hauled it out to the car then returned. It's a bummer when something gets chipped or broken - has happened to me once. I would've also bought that birdy and God message sign - it was cute!

I remember doing stuff like this with my aunt. She owned a flea market and we would go to goodwill, estate sales and yard sales and find items we could resale for profit. Now I just go there for fun and sometimes I find cool stuff to decorate my house with. I really don't like modern stuff, old stuff is just so unique and cool looking and you get it at such a great price if you know how to shop. Love the swirled glass, I'm obsessed with the combination of black and white at the moment.

I love glass and especially lead crystal. I think that was passed along in my mom’s DNA. I notice you seem to have an eye for the beautiful glass pieces as well, from art glass to stemware, and we’ll include pottery pieces in that as well. They are cousins I suppose. One of my number one pet peeves is when people can see you shopping a shelf, and your cart is right there, instead of waiting their turn, they muscle their way into your space, shoving you over. That drives me crazy. I liked the dragonfly vase that was setting next to the dragonfly dishes you picked up. I liked the stars and moon candlesticks too. The mugs I collect are certain types of Starbuck cups. I also keep an eye out for certain colors of Fiesta Ware. Always fun seeing what you find.

Wow! 40% off for seniors! That’s amazing! The Portland Metro Goodwill’s only give the seniors 10% on Wednesday and no other discount during the week unless it’s the color of the week which is 50% off that everyone gets……

The light-weight bowl at 24:42 - we used to have the matching small bowls at our cottage and as kids, ate potato chips in them. I'm not sure if it's made of woven palm leaves, but it makes a nice snack serving dish.
