"Modern MG42" Don't you mean its great grandson, the MG3? You know, the one the Bundeswehr uses today, is chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, and is just as reliable (if not more) than the MG42? Or are you referring to surplus MG42s that are used by 3rd World militaries?

100 rounds... yea that's not an Assault Rifle anymore, that's a LMG. although... the RPK-75 is the LMG Version of the AK-47, and that can hold 75 rounds....
