I was a teenager when this song came out, and it quickly became an every weekend party song. We'd have 30 or 40 teenagers in a house drinking, and when this song came on, all of us stopped what we were doing, and whistled and sang along loudly. No one started talking again until it was over.

That's slash. All there songs are real stories from there lives. It may not be about him, but is of one of the others. Because of their intense emotions they feed off each other and created what is one of the most unique bands ever. A bunch of misfits that got together in a garage and made history. There's nothing he/they can't do. He is an enigma, a one time thing... Never before and never again. No one can duplicate, many have tried but could never emulate the real sounds of Axl. He is/was extremely intense and powerful. He is was extremely versatile as well. If you look him up you will see a multitude of different genres of music not just a head banger. They all have their own individual styles and singular endeavors that have proved to be very successful. They still perform to this day separately, together and are awesome at it. Their entire relationship was extremely complex in every way. I was around when they popped out on stage and took on the world. He is , they were, are, and always will be the best band ever. He has done his own and others back up vocals. He's a humanitarian, many no nothing if this and much more including and all his awards, recognitions, and record (including largest vocal range just under 6 octaves. I could go on and on lol. Simply amazing and incredibly awesome🌹🎀

You guys know Axl Rose has seven different voices he uses to sing. He can whistle what you just heard. And he's awesome on the piano just an incredible musician and singer that's why he's the best hands down

Man... the whistling... 😁 This song came on the radio in a store or any room and the room would shake with people trying to whistle along. I'll admit, I'm doing myself now. 😄 Actually, this whole song is one of their most sing-along-able.

growing up during this time, I was 18 when this song came out and a huge Guns N’ Roses fan. This band is amazing. His voice is amazing. I wish I had patience. I am not a patient person at all!

My top band of all time. Guns N Roses. There was something about those albums......Appetite, Lies, Illusions I & II.....they were next level. Even Chinese Democracy was a damn good album. The hype stirring for a new record with most the original cast.....Just damn. Only GNR as my top band, and Janet as my top singer can pull my excitement the same as they did when I was a kid. I go buy the actual album. Screw online or download. I want the physical copies

from back when Guns N´ Roses were good now Axl cant sing anymore band was great until it broke up in 1996 and Axl used the band name as solo him and the keyboard Dizzy Reed only two members from that tim all the way till today, although Slash ( guitar )and Duff ( bass) came back in 2016 last album sucked 2008 "Chinese Democracy" industriel music the way Axl Rose wanted to go the other guys pre 1996 wanted to go more Rock didn't happen so the left and others were fired by Axl Rose he had the memebers signing over the right to the band name sadly Axl Ruined the band imo
