I have a suggestion - I use Flax speakers now which don't have the plastic distortion at 1K - 4K because they are made of natural material (flax / linsead) and are softer to your ears. The thing is you use plastic drums which I assume are also distorting because I am not liking the sound of those plastic drums because I am getting used to these flax speakers and my ears are now clearing up the 1K-4K frequency range. So perhaps you could try using non-plastic drums? Trying to thing of something... umm.. bamboo, hemp ... not sure. Something plant based :) I think your audience would really like it... something they are not used to.
Quick question!!! im an on and off drummer for years now and i can play to most genre of music and play a variety of beats and grooves .My timing is great but my downside is rudiments and solo fills using anything other singles and a few doubles combined ,I know basic rudiments / singles doubles trips paradiddles flams and i can play them / But speed is my issue . My question is how do i build speed and maintain coordination at the same time ??? and is it more wrist or fingers or an equal combo of both . Please post a video of your Hand movements as you do your rudiments and what you think is the key hand movements to achieve more speed PLEASE !!!!!! And which ones are mostly used for fills in Rock and R&B as well !!!!!!!!!! I would so appreciate the help !!! BTW your pure talent is just amazing and a Gift that only 1 in a million may ever receive . Im a Fan for as long as you keep playing and posting . Thank you so much
