RIP: Covid-19's WildCraft. You gave to us a lot of memories and now we will not be able to experience that good feelings again. I remember this game as a very wild, realistic, game about nature, each animal was so special, and also every adventure with our friends was different and magical. During the Covid times when I was 11, I remember that every update was amazing, for example the addition of the Tiger or the Transformations, new dens, maps, and many of them were free like the Waterfall den. The worst problems that maded WildCraft what is today, started since Ancient Egypt was added, I remember having a lot of connection errors in those times. I played WildCraft again during April 2024 the game was already in a several decline of players and updates, but still I could explore the maps and hear the music. But I never imagined that an update like this could happen. WildCraft died and it will never be the same good game that we experienced 4 years ago. Sorry for my English, I don't speak it very well, but at least I hope that you understand the most part of the comment. Greetings from Venezuela.
I straight up quit wildcraft. Wildcraft was the peak in quarantine. It was a great role play game. Now? There's no role plays, people are too busy levelling up and getting all that stuff to do rp. I've been playing since 2020. It (was) amazing.
When I found out about the restricted maps, I was genuinely so upset. The majority of Wildcraft's player base are people who role-play and by having to rank up to be able to play on certain maps (and / or get higher chances of mystics or higher levels) they've essentially just thrown the whole role-play aspect of the game out the window. Let's say your rank is expert or adventurer. Now, your max level is below 200 for some reason. (I think if you're adventurer, the max level you're allowed to have is 180, but I could be wrong) The game just seems like a leveling up simulator with nothing else to offer.
I am an og, i didnt played this game for a while now since its updates are boring, seeing this makes me really mad, like bro why do we need to unlock maps with ranks, its already hard for us free to players, old wildcraft was lot more better with such amazing updates, but now it got ruined, its becoming history as other trg games
I dont like the fact that they made the maps not all allowed bc we need ranks but its actually annoying me that theyr forcing us to get our rank higher bc to get maps and idk what, i dont like the new update, i only like the exclusive skin for cheetah thats all. It's so annoying. I have Wildclub but it's still extremely hard to do anything. Even I get pressured to buy more stuff to get to higher level. Its like nothing is enough for them. I'm planning on cancelling my wildclub!!>:((
Been playing since the day it came out and stopped way before the wild pass came out (around the addition of the tiger). As a long time player, watching the state of what was once a casual game meant to be used as a leveling up/roleplaying game with decorative accessories, skins, and in game currencies is poignantly disappointing. Not sure who the target audience is supposed to be. Children? Yet it hides behind numerous paywalls that would require for someone with a working job to pay for. Don’t see what kind of adult would take a look at this and buy the Wild Pass and Wild Club. This is an anecdote that is one of the main reasons for having quit playing. Years ago, when Wild Club was relatively new and free players still had a chance at doing everything equally as the Wild Club members, my account glitched. The Wild Club payment had gone through, but the promised rewards were never received. Despite contacting customer service and communicating with them to get said payment back, it never went through. Ended up restarting several times and never bought it again. After the newer updates that gave Wild Club members several advantages over the free-to-play players, it was enormously difficult to get back the lost progress. Also, the fact that Wild Club skins are lost and return to the basic default skin after stopping payments to the company; shows how the micro transactions have a chokehold on the game. Not sure if this ever changed though. 4:30, that symbol is an euro [€] by the way.
I'm so happy that you made this video, I literally decided to quit wc after this. Thank you! I took a long break about a year ago and I noticed just how drastically the population dropped. It use to be so full of players but they've all quit now, its so sad to see.

As a wild club member, I hate this update. I don’t have a single level 200, now I have to aim for a level 210. I miss old WildCraft. I wouldn’t call myself a longtime player, though I did start in early 2020. I took a bunch of long breaks. I love to role play, (no heat) and it’s just sad that role playing is almost not possible anymore, it’s just sad.
Since this update, i have quit wild craft and dont plan to join ever agian and hate wild craft now i was also a free to play player if i find a game that was good unlike wild craft now and i will tell yall.

I actually hate this update, I remember a few days ago I was trying too level up, I literally just gave up. Last hit gets the tiny amount of exp, I ended up saying " aight, enjoy leveling up", I haven't played since. This update needs to go, 210 is too much, 200 is enough im not leveling up, what, 12 or 11 animals to 210? Is something I AM NEVER GOING TO DO, I have levelle up 6 animals to 200. No more.

Yeah, I agree. The updates have really gotten worse. But one thing I think they fixed is changing the extra things in the wild pass from their own purchase. I mean, who would want to buy two subscriptions to get a cool pet? At least they added it to Wild Club. Which I guess isn’t much better.

i've been playing since about 2019, and i left the game in late 2020/early 2021 because everything just felt so needless and overdone. I loved this game, met some of my closest friends, even if all but one didn't last. it's sad to see it's state. honestly I've been personally thinking we should just let the game die since the jungle update, but now i really think we should

I love watching a strange orange fox sitting at a desk yelling at me about updates Ive said this before in other yt comments but i actually really like the new map system. I feel like it kinda forces players to slow down and progress more naturally through the game instead of just jumping on the highest map and speed running it. With this being said, i feel like id like it way better if this was somthing implement WAYYYY SOONER into the game instead of dropping it 6 years later and OUT OF NOWHERE with no warning?? I think its pretty BS they just threw it on us out of nowhere especially a huge change like that

Wow i remember i used to play this game back then where it was just getting started, i barely remember the gameplay but i used to enjoy it a lots. Unfortunately it seems it went down just like most of mobile games did, which is a cash grab, lots of microtransactions and content hidden behind a paywall which makes it less fun to play. I can understand the reason behind skins, because skins in gaming industry are known to be ‚exclusive’ and mostly the only way you can get them is by buying them via real money. I also try to understand the reasoning, which is obvious in this economy, earning money is a must, but you need a better strategy than that, because looking at the community; it does more harm than good both to the community itself and for the potential earnings. There needs to be better and a longer conversation about how and what to do to make it better, what makes a game good, what people are willing to spend their money on and still not have the casual, free to play players just get bored with the game or have them nothing to do. Good video i like it. Also the € sign is euro and its value is very similar to dollar
finally someones understand what i am saying. I don't have issues with the rank though, too many ppl was champion of the wild but they made it almost impossible to reach it unless you have wildclub, so in a sense they are doing it only for wildclub , I Spent almost 18 hrs in the game and I still didn't got 1 darn lvl. Dislikes the ranking restrictions.
I quit wildcraft back in 2022 or the beginning of 2023 bc I beat the game, completed every task for each animal. Full family. Every animal 200. My friends quit or disappeared. It generally got so boring I only came back to check on season 1. Never came back and I'm checking how it's doing and generally sad seeing what they did to the game. I can barely find content on wildcraft. That's not years old.

I hate the new update. I have played for idk how long which i dont exactly rank up my rank bc it takes long and its also hard bc im also a free to play player and ofc im not some pro player. Its very annoying that the maps now are not allowed only allowed if you have the rank u need for it,which for me its hard bc yes im a free to play player and its very hard to rank up and i heard that there is also tons of lag in the new map. Also this update sucks they need to change it. And also change the fact that they allways blank out words in the chat, some words we say in the chat arent bad but they still blank them. I’m considering about quit WildCraft now because of this update. I play a game on Roblox called Farm World and they even know this would ruin the game if they made an update like this.
Seriously just with a few minor changes in what they've done the update could get fixed to be so much better. I worked for around 5 years to get as many animals to max as possible but now with the new update it's all in vain because I don't have a single animal on max anymore ,it's giving me a feeling of defeat and like I'm about to give up on this game .
Also on a side note I hate how normalized it is to think that everyone just pays to get to a high level. I took long breaks during the game but none was longer than 3 weeks, and I never had wildclub. Like that shi took me almost 4 years to get to champion and ppl often ask me how I paid cause they wanna get wc too like what??? N now w this update it upgraded on my device like 7 days ago and the only thing I reached was 204 tiger + 201 bear + 201 eagle. W level 5 mantis I used up like 13 h boosters + 12 h transformation for those 3 and this is all I've reached. I actually like the fact that the game is finally divided by ranks n that we get some bonus (+0.2% mystic chance which is nun) but now they upraged again yesterday n took away all the + my rank has. Atp a literal expert rank w wildclub could be stronger than me just because of this. Out of the 4 quests I have to do for this rank none of them is done and it seems like I won't get to spirit till 2025 at least, but I already saw like 2 ppl w it and ofc they both had wildclub. N don't even get me started on mystic island omg fkin dragon oneshots everyone w it's 2200 crit damage, 300k hp and 2 minions n it only gives 60k. If I didn't emphasize on it enough its 60(Sixty(120/2(0.6x10²))) thousand. They at least fixed it n now it gives 85k but it's literally nothing when u need 10mil xp to lvl up. This game and all the players r my biggest opps fr. Also long yap session but I barely find any people who speak english or at least hungarian, I barely talk in chat cause I don't understand what they sayin.
I think the main reason they made it so you have to be a certain rank to join a certain map is because lower levels would take advantage of the higher levels for XP, like not helping with the boss and whatnot. I do think it was unnecessary, but I thought it was an okay idea for that reason. One thing that really REAAALLLY made me mad was the fact the new max level was 210 and not like 250 or 300. It’s silly, but 210 is just a really ugly max level number, idk why LMAO
Bruh, this is way I play ✨dragonsim✨. I literally met lifelong friends on there (with the older dragonsim ver) and when I try to meet friends on wc, literally nothing, just toxic people all the time.
I couldn’t play the game because it’s grinding and nothing fun :( Every update is for wild club so I quit. Newer players couldn’t even play like me because there’s too much grinding and trying to get chests to level up. I only played for a few months and left it.

I’ve been playing for a long time and it’s sad to see the game fall from what it once was. It was great in the early stages but as time went on it just got worse. I came back to the game a couple months ago but I barely played. Barely anyone is on and everything either costs money or you have to farm to insane levels and it’s just not worth it.

Yes, this update is stupid and i get many other games have level restrictions. But changing a game that was once fun, into somthing so boring to play is a horrible thing to do ive thiught about quitting but i cant bring myself to do it. For all the accounts i have lost and all the years spent leveling up in this game. Turbo rocket games needs to do better.

I left wildcraft behind for a year(Luckily I wrote my Acc user password and key down so if I returned to it I can have all my stuff without restarting) and two months ago decided to reinstall it and now I'm debating if I should leave it again.

Maybe this is because I sort of understand why they're making these choices, but imo that i know I will get attacked for because ig that's how the internet works nowadays, i don't see it as a big deal. People need to make money, and the wild pass is one of the ways. Everyone seems to mad over money, yet money is what keeps us all alive. Think of animal jam, that was a child's game they have membership so that they can make money to keep the game up and running, and even for other stuff like bills and shit. We may not like the update, but sometimes it's just how things are. Idk, I just like to think about both sides when it comes to money. We all need it eventually. At least it's not as bad at animal jam where literally everything good is behind a paywall. Also the wild pass isn't even that much money so I don't get why it matters. If I still played the game regularly i'd gladly give them some money for I know they might need it.
This mindset alone says that you are one who can afford it. Although I've quit this community years ago, I see why so much frustration has arisen from the player base, since I've felt the same way back then. The game used to not have a single paywall. And when I say not a single one, I mean it. Now? It's filled with microtransactions everywhere, meant to grab children by the throat for their parents' money ; that most of them wouldn't even agree to spend because "videogames, go play outside instead"! Unless they're an iPad kid, but that's another story. For Wildcraft, like AJ, everything is getting turned into a paywall, or new ways to actually incite you to buy their stuff to actually progress properly. The rank system is one, with the now-locked maps. It's either grind your life out for it, or throw the bucks by the window. So it's understandable

I just like having something to do with my sorry life because I have nothing really better to do sometimes lol I'm just someone who likes stuff to do in games and so that's why I don't see much of a problem with it. that's just my personal opinion, though. I know a lot of people can't afford stuff, but the main game itself seems to ok when it comes to money related stuff. Also, animaljam has been pretty much money based for many many years. idk, Ig I just have the thought of "we grow, and as we grow, we need money to keep ourselves alive" I see nothing wrong with in-game purchases like wildcraft since it's a choice the player makes, and doesn't seem to affect the main game. Just takes more time. Don't get me wrong! I understand what you're saying, I just see things in a more "adult" way if that makes any sense? I'm not great at wording lol
I stopped playing a few years ago when more and more Wildclub stuff was being added. I could tell that they didn’t care much for the people without WC. Gotta make that money I suppose. I miss the good old days before WildClub was ever added.
I used to have wild club as a younger child I canceled the description because the wild club pelts weren’t free and such like i bought wild club and now I have to spend 90 coins for a wild club skin💀💀💀 I haven’t played it in like years and now I don’t think I’m ever gonna play it again
I dont play wildcraft anymore cus it became so boring, also my friends all quit and r over 15 years old (im 14)I used to like leveling up with my friends, but now it gives less exp also to me the ranks are useless its just to show off how strong u are and some of the quests are useless and it takes weeks to complete them, this update sucks as im seeing I dont even bother updating it or play it, wildcraft and TRG are doomed and the players are slowly quitting the game, the devolpers are just money hungry bastards
As a person who quit wildcraft like 2 years ago now? Idk man, it was sometime between the ocean update and the first season. Anyways, i just stumbled across this video today and I'm surprised that the season only pushed to season 11 up until now

This is absolute bullshittery. I have played Wildcraft from the beginning, and have watched it downfall and fold in on itself. I understand the need to make money to run a game and hire staff. (They’re currently looking for experienced Unity developers currently that will most likely work on Wildcraft and Cat Simulator.) But this is an unneeded change, and Wildclub should not have content locked behind it such as mystic skins. They are hard enough to get, locking them behind a paywall doesn’t help. And the new content is the wrong content. Where the game needs it, it’s being locked or diverted. Maps locked behind ranks? Levels should be enough. What this truly is looking for money. It makes people want to pay money to get a greater chance or opportunity to get the skins or to meet requirements they need to access a new map or get a new experience.
im really disappointed with this update. after updating, my game said it had to 'terminate' so i let it. again. and again. until it got boring. so i uninstalled and reinstalled it, to make sure it would stop the terminating. but it STILL had to terminate. i couldnt even get into the main game, and all my data is lost, most likely. i had a lvl 200 cheetah on there, and its all lost. does anyone know how to fix this terminating thing?? i play on chromebook, if it matters. :/
Wildcraft ruined their game when they continued to allow heaters to keep being heaters because they keep user banning them, ITS NOT DOING ANYTHING TO SOLVE THE HEAT PROBLEMS. Along with their other game Dog simulator and Dragon Simulator tbh they just want that money and checks. 😭
@Whiskey_Rum No bc the thing is trg acts like when players form an opinion about an update or skin in chat it’s a literally crime and when a heater or someone has an offensive user name? They either get chat banned or user banned which doesn’t do much. If I were them I’d permanently ban heaters and racists that whole reputation thing doesn’t even work.
I like the new map, even if I haven't played it and it's similar to the map we already have for bosses. Haven't played WildCraft in a few months, only coming back for a few weeks to level up a wolf to level 200 just to fulfill my childhood game. Other than that i hadn't played since 2018-2020, back when the game was in its early days. When i logged on earlier this year i was thrilled with the amount of stuff added and how the game evolved. Numerous new maps and bosses, animals, game play features, etc. I do not like how difficult it is for new players to get involved. The game obviously has a lot of kids or teenagers playing, and those age groups tend to follow their peers. (I know because I myself am a teenager.) So, whenever you've already grinded for hours and feel like you accomplished something, you really accomplished nothing. You go into multiplayer just to see a majority of people being level 200, or having mystic skins and equipment. It really puts you down. This would be more motivating if you knew you could realistically reach that level in the game without playing for literal years unless you want to grind a boring game play loop for hours everyday. So, getting to level 200 was a HUGE accomplishment for me and I felt that i could finally leave WildCraft forever knowing that I had finally beat the game that my younger self spent literal HOURS on. Then i get this video in my recommendations. I will NOT be going back and grinding to level 210 anytime soon. What's sad is this isn't even a bad idea, they just need to make the game less grindy. They need to make the game play less repetitive and more immersive. (Running around and killing animals over and over being the only reliable way to gain XP, and a slow one at that, is just bad game design.) This is an animal simulator. They could make it where you gain XP for growing your family and raising cubs. They could maybe make maps more excited. For example, add unique game play to every map. Say, in the farm they could make cows and horses spawn only near the actual barn and when you attack them cattle dogs could attack you or even a farmer coming out and shooting at you. They could add something like that to every map, so even making the same game play loop they've had in the game since it released is interesting. If they want to make maps level locked, fine, but they should add a role play mode to multiplayer where all maps are unlocked but you cannot earn any XP or coins from them, also, make it easier to level up and not as boring. I saw a lot of things that i like added to the game when i returned, but after this update i simply will not be returning, and if i do it won't be for a long time.
