I think I would feel less sketched out handling some weaker venomous snakes than a giant pede like that. And I'm pretty much a hard no handling venomous snakes haha.

4:34 more valuable because they have been obtained illegally. All of our wildlife is protected and 100% prohibited from being exported and for the most part even owned domestically. Whether you believe that your source is legal where you are, the fact that they are available means that they have been smuggled out of Australia initially and any sale of the species and ownership just perpetuates the crime. If you saw how completely barbaric the methods that smugglers use to get our birds and reptiles out of the country I’m sure you would agree.

Pretty sure blue tongues were here before the law was passed, so it’s likely still legally here.

I think the arachnid industry is going to take down the retile/ amphibian hobby when it comes to laws that will be passed because of the risks of them escaping and becoming an invasive species.

Extremely unlikely since it's actually the opposite with most if not all arthropods. They're not at the top of any food chains and will always be prone to predation, unlike larger reptiles. They don't settle as easily and hardly ever become invasive or problematic on a large scale, in a healthy ecosystem. They have much shorter live spans and breeding has a considerable failure rate depending on the species, which is rarely the case for reptiles. Even the most venomous species aren't likely to kill a person contrary to most snakes that will severely damage or kill you, regardless of adequate medical help. Theyre far less prone to become victim to impulse purchases, compared to reptiles. Etc etc

Female T's are far from short lived. They have decades to make clutch after clutch. There's also an invasive unnamed species of spider that moved into the Everglades from the South, and it's taken over the swamps by the thousands. It is entirely species specific. @@triax7218

Foolish comment, educate yourself. With responsible petkeeping, arachnids and myriapods can be securely contained. The trick with centipedes are containers with LOCKING LIDS. Also, need I mention all the damage the reptile hobby has already caused by idiots releasing their pets in southern states like Florida? Dont blame us invert keepers. We should be coming together against irresponsible keepers, not pointing the finger at each other.

This is foolish, educate yourself. Arachnids and myriapods can be effectively contained by following a few basic rules. With centipedes, this can be achieved using a container with a locking lid. Inverts are actually much easier to contain than reptiles. Need I mention all the ecological damage caused by invasive reptiles in southern states like Florida? We should be coming together against irresponsible owners, instead of pointing the finger at each other.

Not likely, given most tarantulas need specific conditions to survive.

I dont understand people watching and not subbing. Its free and helps the creators, how do you consume content and not at very least subscribe and Im talking about if you watch more than one. A random sure yer gonna see that but for people that constantly do it I think you like black licorice and sleepy Joe
