pro tip: go in the right side of the wall crouching and go there when she goes straight, ur safe (its luck based, recommended to memorize her path before doing it. its hella risky)
It's risky though, I was playing nightmare when she went straight and when I went to poison the last rat she completely turned around and went to the bell room. I failed my nightmare run.
One thing you may notice, she can also hear your footsteps, so when you move a backing block will spawn infront of her then kills you... Know that tactic
Tip: in the book room, there is a painting of a lady with a mouth in the back of her head. Go up to it as close as you can, if you stare at the painting long enough, it should turn grey and you can see where Rin is.
how come i finished all the chapters in book 1 but im too scared to complete book 2.. edit: 1 month after commenting this i completed book 2 a few times 🥳🥳
I’m too much of a coward I get so nervous and freaked out if I’m ever alone without my teammates by the first stage any small sound makes me jump does anyone have any tips or anything 😭
This has never happened to me! but a random tip:If she is chasing you, go to the exit door, since she sees you at the exit door she can’t get you! (i learned that from running away from her)
Tip at the well area just to to right corner next to the door and if you hear her footsteps and check the door and she isn’t there, you’re safe to go to the bell
LOL at nightmare mode rin can hear your footsteps when running also i already recognized her ai because she is so sus since i was in the well everytime i go out she keeps going back/camping thats why i know why she keeps camping at me when playing jelousy chapter 1 nightmare
If Rin Goes To The Other Side and You Go Out It'll Lure Her So Heres A Tip If Rin Goes To The Other Side Lure Her With The Posioned Rat And Wait Her To Go In The Forward Way
When she goes left, wait till you hear her at well then attempt to go to the bell, but if you still hear her, return to the well because you most likely won't ring the bell before she kills you. Often times, she DBs near spawn but you're safe to go if she makes the trip to big room
What I would do is that I would go to the bell IF SHE GOES STRAIGHT AND THEN TAKE A RIGHT, if she takes a first right towards the bell, I wouldn’t go. Cuz I know she’ll just walk back. I would wait for her to take the 2nd right at the end of the hallway and then sprint towards the bell and sprint towards the exit. I never beaten this nightmare, but in normal, that’s just how I do it.
That's why it took me 2 months to pass the chapter because it got stuck, I was always re-lag in that part and on the boat he took me out every so often because of the lag ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
After me and my friend finished jealousy 2 we thought that means we became a pro so we played jealousy 1 nightmare and i was the test to see how fast rin is, i literally died even in real life she was so fast even my friend got scared😭

you wait for when you hear her near the door that means she’s on the other side of the wall far enough to where she won’t hear you and you can ring the bell 🙂
When I played I never encountered her😭 u til the end cut scene but while mapping out the place reading the book and posioning the rats I never saw her😭 but I did hear eating sounds in the bell room
Bruhh! Sometimes she goes straight and then she gets stuck and then teleports back to the bell when imma bout to go! I kinda need help on the mimic book II nm!
@DeceptionReacts You forgot something, when she kills a person, you can past her and go to the room your looking for(Might be risky but not sure), but after 3 or 2 seconds she will go back to walking around, so you might have an advantage.
I played through every chapter of the mimic , i have control 1,2,3 and 4 and Jealousy 2 , but i just cant do chapter 1 of book 2😢😢😢 That bitch just costs me to many nerves..
Here’s a tip knowing this video is a year ago but for people who are thinking of playing this in nm to so basically she has good hearing so once she’s gone wait for a couple of seconds but not to long and then crouch over to the bell ring it and run back quickly!
