Happy Mother’s Day Lizk. I always enjoyed watching your vlog showing your stunning succulent collections and giving us tips of growing them. I used to watch from my smart tv so i don’t usually write comments but I don’t skip ads. God bless and take care.
Some of your plants have some spider webs and I'm not sure if you ever discuss it, but is this an issue for the plants? I put one of my succulents outside for a day, and when I checked on it in the morning, there were spider webs on the bottom leaves! I'm not sure if I need to "deal" with the possibility of spider mites. Please let me know! Thanks for the video, Liz!
Spider mites web are quite different to other spider web. Please see online images. Any webs that are formed under the plant leaves I get rid of but most of the spider web I have are friendly spiders that helps control fungus gnats and male flying mealybugs. That's the reason why I leave a lot of them around my plants.
My brain is getting jumbled up because of the cold weather. 😂 Was meant to say end of Autumn and that's why we cry as Winters knocking on our doorstep. Thanks for watching and the greeting. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
I’m in the states & it’s been 80’s here. Summer & rainy season. But I’m confused bc the plants that are supposed to be summer dormant are growing sooo so big! I had a baby eche cherry, & agavoides lipstick & a week later they went from being spaced out in their pot to crowding ea other. In a week. Do you notice dormancy? I’m just terrified of repotting ones I save from other places or overwatering dormant ones. Love your house. Wish I could visit!
Lucky you. That's an ideal temperature to grow Echeveria Cherry and Lipstick. 50 to 100°F is the ideal temperature to grow most succulents. Too cold and too hot is the dormancy period for most succulents. If Echeveria is grown in a controlled environment, they will continue to grow all year round. This of course depends on the cultivar and variety.
All your plants have no dead leaves by the soil. How do you do that? Mine do, and try as I might, I can't get away from it. Give me some info on what I can do about this.....please 😢
