The New River (second oldest river in the world) flows north - starts in North Carolina, crosses Virginia and ends in West Virginia (where crazy people do bungee jumping off the Gorge Bridge). Also, the Red River of the North, flows North - starts in between ND & Minnesota and ends in Canada!

Find is interesting that you're not a big fan of twisty roads, growing up in the heart of Appalachia. Do love these videos that you do of touring the back country and small historic towns. Looked like a lot of nice riding in that area.

Growing up in the hills, I never thought of it as anything but just the roads where I lived. Didn't think about roads being different everywhere else I guess. I enjoy relaxed cruising. I had fun on the Pig Trail a couple years ago on the goldwing. I just don't need that to be happy on a bike.

I love loud exhaust as long as its not mine. It gets old on a 6 hour trip. I have feuling 472 cam with Tabs quietest baffles. I think it sounds and performs great. 😊 have fun, stay safe

Fishtails, you know what that means to me? Scared shins! I'm a clumsy MFer.😂 Bike's looking real good though. You're lucky you can get out without fear of frostbite 🥶... NJ area took the Northern deep dive last couple of days. I'm too much of a puss. Cycle Fanatix is just is too much of a real man for me. Something tells me, he and i won't be bumping into each other this time of year! Be safe!
