Sorry to all the people affected by this terrible weather. It's been absolutely horrendous with no end in sight and at this point the weather forecasters have all been found out, every last one of them. They're barely bothering to predict any more and have just said they don't know.

have you not got some dryer fields away from the marshes for a few weeks even if you had to buffer feed them it would save straw

You are farming on marginal land. It's a gamble. Some years good, some bad.

serious dredging and flood defence work is required. im not keen on the renewables especially windfarms and solar farms
