@@zeenxdownz and you’re stuck to what meta wants you to play, lower graphics, and worse tracking. if you want to play other games you still have to get a PC. with the index, you get one of the best headsets out there, way better graphics and tracking, and infinite access to games on your PC. not restricted in any way

If you want to know what the actual ultimate combo is it is the big screen beyond with the meta quest pro controllers with bait stations. The reason why not the valve index controller is because they’re really heavy and they just suck in general with quality like I don’t mean they don’t feel good I mean they easily break and really heavy and pro control track behind your back big screen because it’s really light.

you cant flick bc ur on high hz the lower the hertz the more laggy your headset is so ur handz flick more i recommend 65-50 for walls and floor 75-80 for branches and 90-144 for other games that need high hertz like pavlov boneworks ect

I’ve had a valve index for 2 years and I had to replace the cable 3TIMES cause of gorilla tag and I still play gorilla tag on it but I mostly just play beat saber so just so you know.

you can use 72 hz on index or lower such as 60. You can bump it up to 120 hz and cut the framerate in half using the settings. Put it on manual from auto at the bottom, i forgot what its called and you can move it from 120 to 60 and switch to 144 then cut it to 72hz. its simple.

Quest airlink and quest 3 link have a feature which uses partial ai to track your controller. That’s why you go faster on quest. It’s because it guessing where your arm is gonna be next and doing the work for you. So while you are going slower on valve it shouldn’t be too much slower.

I would honestly say no. The index is often mistaken for this “top of the line headset” but it still came out 4 years ago and has many problems with it. It’s also very fragile and you will 100% damage the headset at some point. If you don’t have a good reason to buy it, I wouldn’t, so if you’re buying it just for Gorilla Tag, it is not worth what you’re paying.
