lol good luck dota matchmkaing really punishes you when you are 90% herald 5. I was legit stuck there for months kept getting paired versus smurfs and had open ai bots in team. I did get to guardian but it was not fun. Mosttly me jsut spamming my best heroes and hoping for best.

@@userxyz783 true. I face 5 smurfs every single game on the enemy team and the score is always 61 8 or something like that. It's like herald V is harder than high immortal matches.

players who can't adapt to random players hurt themselves so much. i've been spamming spec and if i get offlane wraith king i just build other items to kill. Orchid after blademail is really nice.

generally though it's a problem when you have two cores farming afk because one has no radiance and the other is the hard carry, so the enemy team can just 4 or 5 man snowball. just had a wk offlane game and he didn't get radiance until like 35 minutes in, only other item was vanguard i think

I had matches in turbo where wk was unkillable, agnam, refresher and his tanky build made it such that he would just revive no matter what, we had to watch as wk just pushed tower in all lane. It was horrible.

Mostly because people arent flexible with their item builds. Ive seen many many many offlane wks go radiance well into 30 minutes because they lost lane but refuse to change their build. Also and this one is very important, BSJ still plays like a pos 3. Ive seen so many pos 3 Wks dont show up for team fights because they thinkj their job is to actually be the pos 1

They're particularly very good for universal heroes since they give all stats. On magnus 2x wraith is good, or you can go 1 wraith/bracer + wand

The more I play this patch the more I ignore them and just go Boots Wand > big item.

I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as he is, but I feel that at least 1 Bracer is almost always a good investment for a support. Especially if your game isn't going well and you're barely getting any gold. It's pretty nice turn in terms of stats, particularly health, and since you don't have much gold it'll get better at 25. I tend to build them always in general because they're just nice stats, but I think that they make more sense in terms of smart itemization in games where you're not doing great and do need some early stats (that get boosted later) in order to stabilize yourself. If your lane went well or great, then getting 1-2 of those items delays your advantage which lessens your advantage you had, which you don't want. So I would avoid them in those games.

@@TheChosenOne462 Often yes, but there is also another stat about aghs. It passively reduces respawn times for anyone who got put into ghost form by 10%.

Oh and if youre behind buy armlet over midas. It accelerates farm while also actually giving you the ability to fight. around that 14 min mark is when cores typically have a farm item, so being able to man up and fight as a full 5 (if youre the 1 as wk) is game winning. Armlet lets you fight, fights get you kill/participation gold & exp (as well as space to push), said gold gets you radiance, and then youre now not only a monster pusher with skellys + radiance, you now also have armlet for bigboy damage on the towers. The hero has 0 downside. Hell, even mana burn doesnt matter with soul ring, which is also excellent early stats for laning. This hero does it all

Yea exactly wht other item would u want ur wk to make to stop a fed midlaner and offlaner? he has to play for his own game rather than trying to stop the bleeding by wrecking his own progress.

Wouldn't building something else to play more tempo with the team be better than continuing to be an NPC and farming radiance that would never have impact by the time the 0-10 wk gets it? I agree with the original commenter. There should be alternative builds so that the offlane wk can stem the bleeding and then go back to the radiance should he need it. It's not like a radiance should be an end all be all. For example, a blademail might work better if the enemy carry is a dumb dumb who keeps hitting at you And for future replies pointing out that it's a matter of skill issue why the other two lanes are toast. Mind you that there are times when those lanes are breakeven or winning and yet this griefing 0-10 wk will still drag the team down by forcing the radiance build. ​@ark7395 if both your other lanes lost and you are behind, your team is likely behind in strength, net worth, and levels. Why would you want to team fight into a much stronger opponent when all your team's timings are off? Ya sure you can try some pickoffs but team fighting into an opponent with a significant lead is just throwing the game.

How do you play him

It hasn't changed. People will still easily BKB the stun from your ult. The logic with people saying it's bad is because halving the crit CD (4 to 2) is really strong in terms of damage output and provides an insane power spike. The logic makes a lot of sense, and sometimes you do really want that because you need that carry potential lategame. However, there are other factors to consider. The first is that while people can BKB your ult stun, BKBs are more likely to go off at the start of the fight and lategame everyone's BKBs are 6 seconds. So odds are that you can usually survive at least a few seconds so that most if not all BKBs are down by the time Reincarnation pops and you get the stun for it. The other factor here, which BSJ mentioned, is looking at your role in the game as less of a carry and more of a problem that the enemy needs to deal with but doesn't want to. People, especially in low to mid brackets, are very selfish and will just always blindly take the -2s crit talent. But if fights are swinging in your favor because you are being such a menace and being heavily disruptive, getting the Reincarnation stun greatly helps with that. This is also enhanced if you went the +1s stun talent in games where your skeletons are easily killed.

@@Ruimney I have no clue why you wouldn't take it eventually at 30. There's no downside to it. Even in the case of Lotus, it can't be reflected to you because you're untargetable during Reincarnation. And there's no other scenario I can think of where you wouldn't just want that extra stun at 30.

use the skelly to split push / farm instead
