This helps, because right now, there’s a nationwide Lidocaine shortage. My bf has throat cancer, and the mouthwash does help, but OTC is so expensive, and not covered by insurance! So I talked with the doctor about this. Her recommendation is to use Anbesol or Oragel with 20% Benzocaine as the numbing agent, and mix it with the Mylanta or other antacid, and the diphenhydramine. Another alternative treatment we’ve been using is the Vicks Vapocool throat spray. It’s 5% Benzocaine already, and the doctor said it would be okay to add Anbesol or Oragel to the spray itself to boost up the Benzocaine content. It does help, not quite as effective as the Lidocaine would be, but if you can’t get Lidocaine, it’s a very good substitute.
Hey, my gf have chemo now and she had really bad sores on tongue and lips and some outside, we started healios and it really works, she just had 2nd chemo and she just got broken skin on the edge of the lips and nothing else, it's 70 but it really works, they're saying it lady for 2 weeks but we got it for 2 weeks and 4 days (drinking twice a day) but you have to drink this everyday constantly, it is well worth it as she can normally eat and that's most important
As a hospice nurse, I’ve used magic mouthwash a lot with my cancer patients. It is amazing and works so well but the price was becoming ridiculous. This will be so valuable.

Sounds like u have a nevous system issue. Try using some herbs to get that under control. It starts in the gut. And also try to find some plantain leaf and oreganol oil and clove to treat it.😊
