Located in Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat. Within the salt flat and its thousands of square miles of salt, the Luna Salada hotel was built using the abundant natural resource. If you breath and live in a house made of salt you are 900 more times likely of dying with a heart attack within 4 years. Also to add, if you walk around bare footed for one year on a salt flat, or salt surface you will lose all feeling in your feet.

I don't think it has much of an impact at 3000 meters altitude. Starting from 800 meters, the air becomes much drier already, even without salt. Moisture quickly evaporates from everything beyond that point.

i didn't say anyone would want to i just said its possible the feces of herbivores especially large ones has remnant of their food. the grass within the feces can support a structure besides once it dried it doesn't smell anymore. and if someone painted over i double it can be visible what the materials was.
