In St. Augustine there used to be a notorious bar called The Giggling Gator. Everyone had a story about it, the people who went there, and "activities" that went down in that place. Its no longer there and it just created more stories about why its gone

I think the hotel would probably become a bit of a business hotel after the expo when the airport gets built, it is close to that. Travelers would stay there and then take the transit connections for the expo to the city

I think It would be cool to add the Miami Marine Stadium to the shoreline! Its an open air stadium in miami that was mainly used to watch boat races in the 70s.

Awesome use of that hotel… I think the Gator Bar might still be my favorite build today, though.

Expo waterfront idea: in 1964 there was an expo in Lausanne, Switzerland, where you could board an u-boat which also had a nice waterfront. I know thats not really the right time but maybe check out a few pictures of it, at least for inspiration

You could add a hotel chain throughout the city for another company,the company could be having financial troubles and in a last ditch effort to save the company, they work out a deal with a current business. Or, they could start doing some shady things to keep them running. Love the series so far!!

Maybe a boat tour? Example like the Queen Mary or USS Iowa would be cool!

Honestly a ferry's Wheel right near the waterfront would raise up your attraction rate and could potentially save your expo

Virginia Key in Miami has an old cigarette boat racing stadium. Something like that would fit perfectly, especially with it being 80's themed and all the coke running going on at that time.

Cool video! If those islands are based on the Key West islands, you should build a litle airport with dirt/grass runway for the locals. You can see a few of these type of airports there. Or just a local heliport.

The main complaint ive been hearing is the range on the hotels for their needs is VERY short .. so you need to jampack everything close together to make them efficient. hopefully devs change it cuz it makes it hard to make things look good and realistic.

Maybe instead of building a normal fire station, you could build a Tiller fire truck showcase! A single garage as a tourist atraction, and inside would be that amazing truck! When the call will come in, he can respond!

Build an amusement park near the hotel and expo. It would be a great addition to the expo, and it would be a good reason to keep such a massive and extravagant hotel after the expo ends.

My friend, the experimental subway (metro) train car set that is on display in one of the pavilions at the Sunset City World Fair is actually real. The State-of-the-Art Car, or SOAC for short, was a heavy rail mass transit vehicle built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1972 as a demonstrator vehicle for the US Urban Mass Transportation Administration, the predecessor of the Federal Transit Administration. Between May 1974 and January 1977, the single married-pair rail car operated in intermittent revenue service in several cities in the United States, included in New York City. As a matter of fact, its design became the catalyst for the R44, R46 and later the R68 rail cars of the New York City Subway (with a few modifications). Since 1989, the SOAC car set has been on display at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine.

as someone who used to live in the hampton roads area, this series scratches a weird itch for a marshy coastal mildly touristy city i didn’t know i had.

Water Feature Idea: For the Expo, make a pier with a giant Ferris wheel and small carnival attractions. Kind of like Santa Monica Pier in California or the Navy Pier in Chicago.

I love the 25 minutes episode, I like when we have 2 zones developed in the same Episode. Keep doing like that!

When the expo ends the area could be turned into an amusement park, it could be turned into something like Epcot

Name Idea: King Palms (King Bun bought it to make up for the failure of the King Bun Boat). Also why not create a pier with an amusement park? It is a good way to generate more cash and allows for the expo to still generate cash after it is finished.

One of those businesses must be the floundering "Seminole Locomotive Works". Their shady business deals have attracted a majority of the crime to the expo, where they are exhibiting the SCS4000P, a rejected subway design for the Sunset City Subway. They are EXTREMELY bitter about their failure to get a customer out of the city government, so a railway related crime wave might be on the horizon.

one of the major reasons why business is going on on the island in Gator Bar, could be because its pretty easy to get around customs from this island and transport...... anything on small yachts or old fishing boats. this is also could be an addition for that island, a little wooden pier with an old fishing boat and of course more bikers hanging around on the pier. and some... not suspicious wooden crates

The Glasssboat is a floating fine dining restaurant in Bristol, UK. It has been a feature of the harborside for decades and is quite unique. Locals like it for special occasions and tourists enjoy it's perspective of the river. I say float the barge into the City after the expo and rebrand it

In Hong Kong there was an iconic floating restaurant called Jumbo. The owners decided to 'move' it via the ocean during a storm where it unsurprisingly sank (being a restaurant and not an ocean-going ship). It would be cool if the King Buns Barge was to mysteriously end up aground in the swampground and for someone to collect the insurance money.

I'm so sad that I binged and got caught up and now I have no more episodes to watch. You truly are not only a master at this game but also in storytelling. Can't wait to see what comes next!

11:01 "The monorail's doing an alright job but the bus network could be much better." When I went to college (university) in Miami the local paper presented an article called "Metrobus is mean to us" in its Sunday newsmagazine. So your bus network is not unrealistic for South Florida!

What could quite help the city is more residents at this point. Some more suburbs or small towns out in the countryside.

a floating barge like that should be a no brainer. change the inside to a better class of venue. small concerts, parties, weddings. stuff like that. a unique setting that people will remember. (edit: maybe even a floating small hotel/condo) more edit lol: with the water feature by the hotel, if there are workable water fountains that would be spectacular, especially with lighting at night eme (even more edit) i see you already thought about the fountain in the middle

Make a german-austrian-suiss style district called “Deutschestown” pronounced: Doychuhstown This small tourist area would be the home of the city’s beer culture and industry, hosting an annual Oktoberfest and such, it would also be great to have a traditional Lutheran church as the centerpiece of the district, located in the market square, which would host german cafe’s, souvenirs and, of course, bars. This district would be only about 2-3 blocks in size, but would hopefully host alot of the german culture that exists in IRL miami-key west

Well Gloria seems like a small island that's far enough away from the big city, so it makes sense that a dodgy biker gang makes their presence there. Also the streets are more curvy, bikers love some long and curvy roads.

Hey love your content I’ve came up with some names for the hotel since you asked. Cerulean Heirloom Hotel Viridian Waterfront Resort and Spa The Expedition The Seven Seas Resort and Spa The Palm Also add like and observation tower to look over the waterfront

I don't really know, but maybe for Oceania you can put the Adelaide F1 street circuit. Maybe as a street circuit, or as a purpose built racetrack, or do the Melbourne Albert Park Street Circuit, which might be easier to implement as it is based around a park (Albert Park) around the Albert Park Lake. I don't really know, but having some Aussie F1 history would be pretty cool (in my eyes at least)

I'll tell you right now, the rental cabins make the most money when the rent is set to the lowest. It fills up the last room, and there are so few guests that stay that the profit from filling the extra room more than makes up for the reduced profit per guest.
