During a cleanout, you never know what you might find hidden behind a bed or in a closet! #hoarders #cleanwithme #reseller Follow me on Instagram @paperandmoose
Thanks for letting us share the downside of cleaning out - mountains of dust, of used tissues, of nosy neighbors trying to grab and continuing to gab. No more treasures but lots of mess and filth. We can see on your face how tired you are at the end of the day. I so admire your diligence and persistence, and how you manage to fetch up a smile or a joke no matter how exhausted you are.I hope the weekend brings you some celebration and lots of rest.
Thanks Amanda! "Grab and gab" haha, so true! I hope I didn't come off too grouchy, but I was at the point when I just wanted to be done for the day and on the way home. If the POA has no idea who they are, then I tend to be a little leary of just letting them in to "look" around.
@@PaperandMoose I would be almost-threaten-to-call-the-police leery! Good for Tony that he managed to get rid of him either with charm or with the famous ability to talk him down. Have a good rest.
PAM, you are a better person then I. I absolutely could not handle the tissue!!! I can do a lot but I would have to draw the line there. I hope you are generously paid for your time.
Always fun to see the three of you working together. Great teamwork. Loved the Ted Williams bat. The trash removal part of house cleaning is a tough job. You manage to tackle it with humor & perseverance. I salute all three of you on your hard work. Renee have a great, long, & relaxing weekend. I am sure you will imclude some fun work in your weekend but enjoy doing what makes you happy. Take care!😊
Over the last couple of weeks I did a partial house clean out! It was so fun, but wow it was alot of work! I can only imagine how fun and tiring this hoarder house is for y'all! Continued luck on your finds! Have a super blessed weekend!
Hi Renee. The things you find in a cleanout. That was a lit of paper 📜 and stuff at that place. Why do people have to interfere with a cleanout. Tony was really having a hard time getting rid of that person asking too many questions. I hope in the end everything gets done with that place. God Bless you Renee, Tony and Taco Stack's. Take care all. Maria. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
We just have the kitchen to clean out, plus move some other garbage, and then it will be done! I'll probably record when we clean out the kitchen, I know that's going to be a fun day! Haha
that bed looked sketchy....hopefully no bedbugs hitched a ride to the Paper and Moose residence....who was that nosey guy? he needs to "get lost" haha.....have a relaxing weekend, if possible! ☺
That bed survived many years, that's for sure! The guy was someone that "knew" the person, but showed up a few times to keep asking about what found, what we are doing with the things, asking what they could take. The POA had no idea who they were. We were done for the day and I was ready to get home & shower, so I wanted to get out of there!
So anyone watching this: CLEAN Up your stash/hoard, bc this is what happens to your junk after you pass. And who is going to do it or want it? Renee can't do everyone's!! I've been getting rid of my junk.
I’m trying to get rid of my junk as well. I try to send the paper stuff and other little trinkets to Renee. She can keep what she wants and sell the rest at the flea. 😂
Once had a well intended, friendly neighbor convince our water well-driller to move his drill. Problem? The new location wasn't on our property. (SMH). Honestly one just never knows what folks can get up to! Stay smiling Renee 💖🙏👑✝
The digging and the finding stuff may have been done but it was still mighty good fun watching you beavering away through all those years of stuff. Who was the nosy Parker downstairs? Seems Tony fended him off skillfully, whoever he was...
Nice insight into an average day of a cleanout job, thanks for taking us along, Renée. I didn´t quite understand the relationship of this person asking questions about the inventory, was he the owner, a neighbour or just curious ?! Tons of plastic bottles there, over here we get a quarter for each, if they got a barcode. So lots of pensioneers and jobless folks are searching in parks, garbage cans etc. for these bottles. 😐Anyways, hope your allergy is better now. Have a very sunny and relaxing "rest and recreation" weekend, Renée, Monday will be holiday over here (Pentecost Monday). Greets from GER, U.
A "friend" of the person, but someone that the POA had no idea who they were. I'm sure they didn't mean any harm, but the consistent questioning and wanting to "look" got to be a little too much. Don't keep me from being able to get home, shower, and relax either! Haha. For the bottles, it varies from 5cents to 10cents here. 25cents for a plastic bottle is great! We just take the bottles to the recycling center when we drop off the paper for recycling, so easier to drop them off there. Monday here is Memorial Day, so a day off here as well (though of course I will still be working!). Have a great weekend, Uwe!
There are always " wanderers " looking for freebies. You should have seen the neighbors come over when my Grandma died wanting her quilts. Some didn't even know her. Enjoyed this clean out series, can you just give us an update how it finished?
Was it worth taking the bed apart for scrap?🤔 Seems like a lot of extra work for such little money from scrapping..😥 Love the Ted Williams Louisville Slugger vintage baseball bat it's super cool..😍 Hope you guys have a nice Memorial Day weekend..😉 Take care..👍💕🔥👊
We had to take the bed apart to get it down the stairs, otherwise there wasn't a way to maneuver it down the stairway due to the handrails that had been installed.
I think that it was put upstairs before the multiple handrails were installed on the walls of the stairs. Would be funny though to think they built the house around it :0)
I enjoy watching you sort stuff so effeciently. I am curious to know how that box spring was taken down the crazy stairway. It makes me wonder if it was brought up through the window originally. By the time if this video, I would be more than ready to tell the nosy guy to bug off, you have work to do.😏 😊😊😊
In the immortal words of Elvis, "A little less conversation, a little more action, please / All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me." Perhaps that was the reference you were making. Is that guy being aggressive or just persistent? I know there are dangers in your line of work but that's not one I'd considered. Will you be removing the rust-colored (?) shag to resell? I bet there's some nice wood flooring under that. I forget if you've said whether that house is salvageable or would likely be torn down. Still looks like a lot of work left to do. I'm curious whether Tony's idea of bending the bed springs in half worked? Great video as always! There still might be some cash tucked away in some of those papers / books! I guess we've established that the vast range of collectible ephemera / old paper does not extend to used tissue - haha. Hope you have something great planned for yourself for Memorial Day! Perhaps an Elizabeth Arden biography. Happy Friday!
Tony mentioned about the shag rug too, but we aren't responsible for the removal of it. I wonder what it would cost to clean it because it's just a little dusty & dirty! If the owner is going to update the place, there's a lot of money that will have to go into repairs and upgrades. Definitely not "move-in ready"! The only place we have left to uncover is the kitchen, of which I'll be wearing my respirator mask because I'm not playing around with anything we might find in the stove or refrigerator! I opened up the silverware drawer to find it filled with mouse droppings and eaten up tissue, so I think we are in for a treat! An auction & flea market this weekend, plus trying to catch up on other work. No rest for the weary! Hope that you have a great weekend as well!
I must have missed it but why were you guys tearing that bed apart up there? Shake those papers 🤑, you never know what you’ll find. Have a great weekend sweetie, thanks for taking us along, I love the hunt!
We never know if you will be modeling vintage dresses....,(yes i remember that long ago) or crawling through dirt...,...we just know you will be working hard!
Taco; “ Oh my goodness gracious me...(sarcasm) Who's name is on the bat”? Renee; ( myopic, squinting ) “Ted.?Ted Williams...? Taco; “ Oh my goodness gracious .( sarcasm again)It might be his game bat! ( takes cursory glance )Nope. It isn't....”
I think it was early 2000s?? But, someone bought a house that a woman had saved evetything she ever got. They did a newspaper article about it, The Spokesman .review? I think that is the Spokane paper but it took a few years to go through everything! They had a display at Washington State University so you might find info about it there too! It was crazy how long it took to go through everything and what they found. I would love to do that!
I’m just curious, how many hours a day do you all work . Did you find anything out about the Dodgers ticket? I will ask taco I’m fixing to watch his video. oh, and now I’m curious about the baseball bat with Ted Williams on it. That’s an awesome Find two anyway, thanks for the video. I will catch you on your next one for sure.
Hello Renee. Oh honey I should’ve hopped a train and been there to deal with that man for you, I’m sure he would have never come back after the first time he came . I’m sorry you keep getting bothered by him. I’m a nice person until you start messing with people I know then it’s another story. Lol. You look so tired, poor lady. I want to thank you for all your hard work for us viewers. I know your going to be working all weekend but please try and take some time to relax and enjoy life to you deserve it. Take care.🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Looks like we have to go back just one more time, saved cleaning the kitchen for last! Eek! Perhaps if that person wants to look in the little refrigerator or stove, they are more than welcome to take a peek in there! Haha. Hope that you have a wonderful, relaxing weekend as well!
Must have missed the 1952 Bowman cards, all the old models still in original boxes, the antique books, lots of ephemera, and a decent amount of trains! We are nearing the end, so pretty much what is left are smaller dollar amount flea market items and then things to recycle or garbage.
@@PaperandMoose it would be great to know what you get to keep. maybe you could do a video on what you were able to keep. only you know how worthwhile your efforts are rewarded. best wishes.
OR you break the crossbars with a sledgehammer, give the frame a diagonal crack and it falls apart all by itself. Look at Ikea, their bookcases are only held together by a bit of tape on the backboard. And it lasts a long time. People just don't know how easy it is to destroy things anymore. grump.
I'm so sorry that person keeps coming back. He had his opportunity, I'm sure. It's probably a very hard position to be put in. Poor Tony. Anyway, I'm glad Taco could come for a bit. I love yuns. ❤😘💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
