@@chandir7752 Yup, its true that the idea itself has probably already been pushed to the edge of what is possible. I just meant that for virtually nobody else to give it a go after so many years still seems odd, especially for the gigantic & clever RU-vid DIY communities.

@@fredbatten9739 I suppose it would be more stable if the blades were located about the center of mass, but I can't see how you would deal with the mass of the larger supports needed to support the blades. If the moment on the arms is (force)*(distance to blades) you would want all the blades as close to the center as possible.
