Think I already commented on the other arc video, but yeah this build has been my bread and butter on prismatic hunter for the past while and it feels just so good. For anyone looking for this class item don't sleep on in-most light + Facade, it's the one I use and it feels absolutely fantastic. I have a MUCH more aggressive variant of this build that uses Grapple with the aforementioned combo and uses Silence and Squeal with Purpose in order to get Frost Armor from Orbs. I ran around with it even in GM's this week just flying in and face tanking everything, I'd then use Ascension instead of the freezy dodge for some quality light damage that clears the room, and you just more often than not go invis after poping into the air due to the enemies dying to jolt, and you can just run around nabbing some orbs before popping out again with another grapple punch. Need 3 heavy handed for that though to generate orbs from both your melee and kuni (and be able to generate even more off of grappling to a tangle for further free melees), but it's the opposite side of the 'my punch kills everything' builds with just 'I live forever until everything dies', and it feels fantastic. The roll I mentioned above has the added benefit of not locking you to buried bloodline in order to feel powerful, just slap on anything with heal clip or Unrelenting and you'll have a great time. But obviously with Buried Bloodline you have an even MORE great time. About the only thing it is missing though is overshields, you have to get that from the artifact or something like Vexcaliber or Repulsor Brace and the like. But as stated, I did the GM and was full face tanking the Hydra boss and just grapple punching him repeatedly so it's very much worth running still. The one detailed in this video is very much more Gun focused though, so if you want that, probably want this combo! But I like flying around while also being invincible so the one above is my preference XD. (it also feels nice not really dropping frost armor when you transcend since you just keep kuni-ing things for more orbs to keep the frost armor going).
With galvanic armor being a thing (30% DR), I think that Ascension is way better for constant amplification in combat. Gunpowder gamble too for more woven mail uptime. I think going invisible goes fundamentally against what this build is capable of. That being said, once galvanic armor is deprecated I definitely see the case for Winter’s Shroud.
Yeah I normally rock Ascension + Gunpowder Gamble with this exotic class item roll too. I think I'd rather have Inmost Light + Cyrtarachne to not be reliant on devour from Buried Bloodline though.
@@MaybeABear A fun backup option is Forerunner since the rock grenade actually activates woven mail. Then you just run silence and squall to keep your frost armor stacks up. Which means you don’t need to focus on ability uptime through things like inmost light.
Nice build! You can replace overshield (void super) with resto (solar super) and use facet of awakening (for ability energy and amplified for galvanic armor) with combination blow, marksman dodge (3 heavy handed, powerful attraction, and innervation give almost constant grenade uptime) and a weapon with slice. Works best for lower level content cz no liars :( If no resto, with overshield, galvanic armor dr and melee damage resistance mods, dr is pushed to almost 99.1% Titan main and slightly salty
Should definitely try it with an Attrition Orbs / Kinetic Tremors Multimach for when you're up close and personal, getting those orbs constantly even on single targets.
Manticore with catalyst could prove equally useful, as with the catalyst The Manticore is capable of generating 1 1/3rd of a void OS per kill with the anti-grav repulsors active.
@@Proppur_ tell that to my 50+ clears lol....yet i have literally all the class item god rolls for hunter with maybe 10 duality clears and 10 from pale heart chests
Everyone saying to use the Arc super/Ascension for Amplified to use the Artifact perk for 30% DR are kinda missing one important factor: Artifact-agnostic builds tend to feel better throughout a season and won't be rendered obsolete once the Artifact changes. A build like this you can take into any season and augment what it's already doing. Changing the build/play loop to more heavily rely on a temporary Artifact just makes you burn resources every refresh. Swapping out weapons for Artifact abuse makes more sense. Swapping armor and subclass ability choices to drastically change what you're doing just to squeeze out maybe 3% more EHP than a "generic" version doesn't seem worth it to me.
This is nutty. All I need to complete this now is *checks notes* that class item, Buried Bloodline and *checks again* A Hunter :D But honestly this looks so much fun to do - Reminds me of HOIL Titan when Void 3.0 came out. It was just throw everything and it all came back! Saving this vid to hopefully come back to one day
I FINALLY got Buried Bloodline. I have a class item with Renewal and Gyrfalcons. I dont have woven mail, but the volatile rounds on BB makes up for it for me. I like using Disparity for the Creeping Chill artifact mod
JUST got this class item the day of writing this comment LOVE the build! Pretty easy to keep the buffs up, just gotta stay in the thick of it, but thats fine😁😁
You don't need Cyrtarachne's for woven mail btw. I have Renewal and Synthos class item and I'm using facet of purpose to get woven mail on orb pick up (with strand super), and with how good melee builds on hunter are, you can put on 3 of the mod that creates orbs on melee kills and just start printing them. This works better with combination blow since it refunds your dodge for constant 50% DR with winter shroud and allows you to do the infinite dodge/punch combo.
@@Beast-mf7br I played this weeks gm with combination blow and was one punching overloads and two punching the unstops and barriers. Just because you play gms with a scout from two miles away doesn't mean everyone is the same.
1. Nice vid! I'll try that build when the classitem drops. 2. 1 Kickstart + 4 armor charges = 38,4 % nade energy, says DIM. 3. Nearly immortal only, if they're skilled like you. ;) 4. I know I'm crazy, but I have nearly 70 k kills with Buried Bloodline and I can tell you: Killing 4 redbars = devour. Killing 1 orangebar + higher = devour. The catalyst ist gold! While you have devour every shoot weakens. Don't miss the cat. 🤙
Love the video. Build seems very dependant on bloodline and artifact. Any chance you'll include tips for the build when sidearms aren't Champion moded and artifact doesn't favor Bloodline?
To be honest this build is quite Artifact-independent, the only thing I guess you could say depends on the Artifact is Shieldcrush or Radiant Orbs, but overall I'd say it's pretty evergreen :D
getting ascension for amplified and galvanic armor would make this more interesting. invis is not needed when there is so much DR. then running strand weapon in the top slot with threaded blast would improve aoe capabilities of the build
I saw this combo a while back and I knew this was gonna be huge. Still haven’t gotten it but it’s nice to know for sure it’s good and maybe what I can combo it with
Build looks fantastic, though I'll never get behind using kickstart mods since Bungie nerfed them to require armour charge. The 3 mod cost doesn't help either.
Yeah, too many mods cost 3 it seems. Stat-boosting mods cost 3 or 4, build-defining mods cost 3, and hardly anything worthwhile costs only 2. Another issue is that some pieces don't have 1-cost mods worth using, like Fastball on Prismatic (the Prism grenade ignores it). At this point I just assume Bungie wants players to only have 2 mods slotted into armor that aren't stat boosts, like they actively want players to have empty mod slots on most of their gear. You either have to take a power drop to fill out every slot or you have to overspecialize in one area while leaving energy/slots unused and it bothers the buildcrafter in me a ton.
Ran this for a while but moved on to Renewal/Husk Run multimach/Buried Bloodline/Heavy of choice with solar super/shroud/stylish. You can keep combo blow for amplified I think having healing sources is stronger than that extra DR. Can use Galvanic, Hegemony, and Radiant orbs at the same time. Throw in attrition orbs/tremors multimach and the sever fragment, and Sever big target on the way in and get an orb> Throw renewal on the enemy/orb > Orb starts the resto, dodging for heals and punch where you can.
Build is strong enough without it, kinda up to you there. I'm a sidearm guy, I've mostly been using Final Warning (great for creating tangles and giving you invis if you have stylish executior) also it hits like a freight train, the catalyst makes it a monster. Also Devils Ruin is dope, I pretty much only use the laser then swap off and I have a bow with sympathetic arsenal so I can reload the sidearm immediately, rinse and repeat. Doesn't quite synergize with this build as well but very strong. Also, Vexcalibur is a solid option for this build.
Hold up - winter's shroud gives DR on dodge? How am I only just finding this out 😅 Bungie really needs to improve those tool tips. They just straight up don't say half the effects. Pretty sure stylish doesn't mention the melee damage buf whilst invis either?
Hey Llama! Big fan! Just wanted to ask if you were gonna or would do a raid mastery guide for salvations edge? I always point people to those videos to have the smoothest experience as possible and I’m intimidated but how hard salvations edge has been hyped to be.
Do you think it might be worth replacing hope? I'm not sure if the bug fix will fix its ability to stack with other regen sources, but I heard rn it doesnt. And you using your dodge is giving you increased class regen by slowing, as well as using your duskfield making hope kinda redundant if not useless if the nonstacking is intentional on bungies part.
I believe you only get one chance per character per week and only drops on the final boss. But you can do the triumphs that raise the drop rate by ~1% each that’s account wide (deathless run, solo run, solo flawless)
So 2 things for the “solo player” to cry about😂, class item and bloodline. I’m trying to get ALL the class item roles for each character and have done the dungeon several times but no drop yet. Not worried or gonna cry about it, I’ll get em all one day😎.
I think this is a gimmick build. I would way rather prefer the consistency of having stasis fragments (rime, durance, shards) or if im using the woven mail im going gunpowder gamble with inmost light instead of spirit renewal. The inconsistency of renewal + cyrta is bugging me.
NO THIS ROLE DOES NOT EXIST. I have been searching for it ever since the mission dropped I have accumulated over 100 class items, this is the only role I want and it doesn’t exist
