I LOVE how she says this is normal. So many women hyperfocus on things that our body just is/has and then become insecure. Now that I am older (44) my eyes look like her left eye lol so I've been skipping eyeliner. But I miss it. So I. Definitely going to be using this technique!!! So excited 😊 thank you!!!

However, hooded eyelids aren't only a problem for a middle aged person. A lot of my younger clients have hooded eyes. I at aged 30 have almond shaped eyelids, but her technics also help me.

I like to use a pale gold pencil in my lower waterline for the same reason. Makes it really bright and opens up your eyes. You are truly an amazing makeup artiste! 🦋

I’ve probably said this before on your channel Smitha, but I have hooded eyes and mature eyes. So my hood is thicker. So I’m Super Excited to try your technique. That you only took your bottom liner/eyeshadow halfway or a little over halfway makes so much sense! It leaves the inner eye open. I’m trying this asap

I have hooded eyes so have avoided using eyeliner for years. Usually I just do a form of smokey eye. Every time I think I can try eyeliner again, it just looks like a plain streak across my whole eyelid. LOVE THIS!!! Thank you for this great tip. I love liquid liners but drawing a perfect wing is next to impossible for me with irregular hooded eyes. I'm going to try this with my pot-gel liners. Powder doesn't last as long for me so I usually use eyeshadow powder on top of liquid eyeliner to diffuse it a lil bit.
