@@punt3rplays he sprays it more that a fire hose. He’s clearly a bowler who thinks he’s way quicker than he is. Terrible action that looks like it will cause him injury, as well as the fact that he bowls way too short. Just because you’ve played league standard, amateur cricket for years, doesn’t mean you know what you’re taking about

I have been following your channel for a while and I have to say, this is one of your better innings despite the slow start. The second half of your innings is proof that temperament and patience are the most important qualities a batsman should possess in order to score runs. Really impressive and planned batting. Superb, stoic innings that flourished after 50. Even the Lancaster made a detour to view the array of shots! Definitely consider the swivel pull on one leg to that opener who was banging in the filth, several sixes on offer there! I also enjoyed Ollie reaching his 50, club/village cricket needs a future and it is wonderful to see it unfold in real time here.

I coach in my club and for another clubs ladies team, what I suggest is to watch the ball incredibly hard right until it hits the bat and don’t raise your head until after you’ve hit the ball. Starting with underarms then throws then sidearm or bowling machine and build the time up and runs will get easier(personally i do 1-2 hours midweek and 100 ish balls on match day). Anything technically needing changed I would suggest 1 thing at a time and record what your doing and study it try to keep a fresh grip on so the bat doesn’t twist easily in the hands, makes a good difference in power Watch a few vids of top players in the nets on yt. Gareth keeps his head very still

I got goosebumps when the Lancaster flew over as the umpire was signalling Six. As a cricket and aviation geek that would have had me in tears. But I average 3 with the bat, so highly unlikely! 😂

This remind me Sanga's 2014 lord's 100. He didn't score a run in his first 12 balls. Started very slow but latter he scored run a ball hundred. Well done mate.

Hey gareth try the sweep shot. That spinner was looping it so graciously 😂. But amazingly batted overall. Converting a scratchy start is never easy especially with low confidence. Great work ❤

Very interesting video and well played. One bit of advice I'd give you and Ollie is to not turn blind when running between wickets. You both often turned for the second run with your back to the ball, you need to switch hands and make sure you face where the ball is so you can call correctly.

very good batting. One tip for you is to work on your bat lift and when you hit the ball making sure your bat doesnt turn. Seems like a lot of outside off balls are going on the leg side when you bat. Regardless runs are runs. Wonderful innings mate!

gareth ure an extremely talented batter i would like to share an advice which has worked out for me whenever im scratchy in the start as u were today just try using your feet even to the medium pacers they would bring the keeper up what this would do is just unsettle them there would be forced changes just see if it works for u

These kind of knocks where you start off super scratchy, you grind and grind and grind, eventually you play one shot that turns everything and you start middling again and your eyes are in... these types of knocks are super satisfying as a batsman. I think the most consistent thing about you though is your running. It's always the same in all your videos. Once it goes even one step right or left of the man, you're off.

I had a game yesterday so I watched your video a day late, FIFTY EXTRAS and most of them were by's, im a leg spinner and there was this opening batter where the keeper dropped 2 catches in a row and then he hit a six which ruined my economy. There were so many dropped catches on my bowling I was pissed. I came in at the last two balls where we needed 26 but the other team was about to get a 10 run penalty because of overrate 😂. Keep up the channel I love the videos.

About me: i have played only 1 cricket match....❤im the last man standing in my team to save my cricket team.....before the day of the match i saw this video❤❤❤. The opposite team has chose to bat first and they scored 212 and 3 runs in T20.....Then we started batting .....we scored well....but we lost wickets also......By the way ...we just needed 32 in just 8 balls to win the match😱😱😱i was the last batsman.....i didnt even called to the non-striker batsman to run😂 .... So i finished the match and we won.....thanks for this video Sir... if i didnt find this video, we would be lose to the opposite team😊🥺🥺🥺
