This INTENSE New VR Shooter is ALMOST AMAZING... // HEARTSHOT VR Gameplay

HEARTSHOT is a brand new VR shooter that is SO CLOSE to being incredible, however it currently suffers from some early access woes and is missing almost ALL accessibility options you'd expect from a VR game in 2024! This retro VR shooter looks incredible and the combat (when it gets going) feels so impactful, chunky and satisfying that I almost want to recommend it to anyone looking for some high quality PC VR action... however, this game has just released into early access and as of writing this description it has no smooth turn, height adjustments, grip adjustments, graphics options, vignettes, holsters for weapons, seated mode, turn speed adjustments, turn increment adjustments or ANY options you'd expect! The game also suffers from a tonne of bugs right now, in this video alone you'll see a bunch BUT underneath this there is a fantastic game screaming to come out and I truly believe the devs will get us there during early access. If you want to support passionate (and clearly talented) VR devs then I'd say put HEARTSHOT VR on your wishlist and keep an eye for updates, because once a few issues have been addressed this will be an essential PC VR experience!

All HEARTSHOT VR gameplay / Heart Shot VR gameplay for this video was captured from the currently available build of the game on a 4090 VR ready PC with a Quest 3 connected with link cable, the experience was silky smooth for me in terms of performance but some have commented that as there as no graphics options the game does struggle on some systems.

Day one patch has already fixed the following: Smooth turn now available, increments for snap turn available, custom controller position calibration now available, toggle/hold to grip guns, various falling through map fixes ❤ great to see big changes dropped with such speed!!

Even before Beardo said it I was getting strong Half-Life vibes. Soldiers look a bit like the combine, gravity gun = magnetic glove, but the humour (Breakfast will not be served, Kitchen staff on standby) and the world building are making me smile just like H-L did. Hope this can reach the potential talked about, this could be a big one.

The humour is a real high point, the writing and delivery of the lines are fantastic ❤️❤️ once they’ve polished it a little and hopefully added some of the missing features this will be an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a top tier VR shooter

Bugs aside, my only gripes would be that the enemies appear to be spawning instead of just existing and coming from out of sight, and bodies disappearing instantly.

I revisitedl Arktika.1 last night with my 4090 and was blown away by how amazing it is - so much improved over originally using a 2080ti, like a brand new game and what it was always intended to be. Its a shame these incredible VR games are forgotten before the technology catches up

Man, lighting and art style and gunplay is very good. The goofy ai and the wonky issues of course need work, but that's been clear from the beginning. I'll follow this one, because once it's got the issues ironed out, I think I'd be up for this cool game.

I played this last night and it's not often I get lost in a game but last night I played for 1hr 48 minutes without adjusting the headset at all. I love the maze like environments, combat, sounds and cinematic feeling of it all. It also has great voice acting that for once I really enjoyed! I hope the keep supporting it, that's my only concern.

No. Well, mostly no. Even games bought on quest standalone have to be bored again to be played PCVR. Sometimes they say cross-play unable to download And play from your PC as well. Only if they say it will can you. Otherwise just by standalone games from Quest pc VR from Steam.

All those comfort options do not need to be there, at least not at the beginning of development, when the main focus is the gameplay. It's just a waste of limited resources. See Helldivers 2, I think support of the project is the thing to do.

Game would better if the AI were more difficult so whether difficulty levels are there & instead of simply making enemies spongey you have to be more stealthy in approaching & killing them. Certainly would be more interesting as a stealth game, maybe 2 options to play with the enemy AI matching your abilities.

This game is literally ass. Simple things should've been added before releasing. Yall praising games like this is literally why VR has been stuck in stage for years now.
