I'd be interested to see a video for "If I lost all my makeup, this is the one thing that I'd buy in each Category".

I'm 63 years old and just started wearing foundations about 3 years ago. So, I have been trying a bunch to find what works best for me. I love this foundation! It is so beautiful and brings my complexion to life. I love that I only need to use a small amount of it. The only thing I don't like about it is it is messy at the cap! Same issue you pointed out. I also use the Mont Blanc shade and find it to be a wonderful match for my skin. I feel bad that I now have several foundations that I am not sure I will even use again. Well, I take that back. I am also loving the Rose Inc tinted whatever it is called. That is also gorgeous!!!

I have been trying to get this foundation for the past 4 weeks. Every store I have been to or even online, my shade is sold out. I tried a sample a few weeks ago and now no other foundation compares. Less is more with this foundation and it is more like skincare. It blends seamlessly into the skin and feels breathable all day. It is truly a beautiful foundation.

I bought this foundation because of all the hype on tik tok and tbh at first I did NOT like it 😬 BUT, in one of your videos you said “less is more with this foundation” and that was a complete game changer for me!! I started using a pump less than I normally would and ohmygoodness, I was OBSESSED! it really is perfection. I haven’t put it down since, I use it for every occasion and I have YOU to thank 🥰🥰

I’ve been loving the LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation! It’s the first foundation not to look cakey or overly powdery on my dry skin. It covers all of my redness and leaves a skincare glow. I’m so impressed!

I absolutely agree with you! This is the only foundation I have been reaching for this year. I’m combo-oily so I think this could work for almost everyone. It’s gorgeous!

I love this foundation. They have so many shades, and it blends into my skin so beautifully. I will agree less is more though; I can use three pumps for my whole face. I’ve seen other videos online where people use more but I don’t think that’s necessary at all.

It’s also one of the BEST foundations for mixing!! I swear, it works great with everything!!! But the best combo ever is this one with the Nars Soft Matte. It bumps it up to FULL coverage , but still looks like skin. And it makes the skin look even more smooth and poreless and lasts even longer. For my wedding, I mixed these 2 foundations + a spritz of setting spray before applying… BEAUTIFUL coverage and finish !!!

I completely agree. I love this foundation so much. I too get lots of compliments on my skin with this foundation. Whenever I use another foundation I always regret it and go back to the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation. It's amazing!

This foundation is fabulous!! i bought it about two months ago and I have not found another foundation that matches it. Totally worth the money if you can afford it.

I love trying new foundations, but ever since I got this one I rarely have used another. It’s just so good! It looks like my skin but actually has coverage. And it also wears well, usually foundations like this don’t wear well on my oily parts, or catch on my dry patches. It’s perfect. I work at a makeup store and always recommend this one

I have been wearing this one for months, too. I am 57 and have dry sensitive skin and this is my holy grail. The shade match was spot on and my skin looks so good with this foundation. I bought four different foundations around the same time and every time I use a different one, I feel like I am cheating on this one. 😂

It's my go-to as well. It just is perfection. It gives my older skin a luminosity that is undetectable as make up. Like you Allie, I'm committed.

I just got this foundation a few weeks ago for my birthday and I've really enjoyed it! I got it because I noticed how much you've been using it. I love the finish and how you can't go over board with it. I will say that when you are outside and doing a lot of running around it doesn't last as long. It also gets pretty dewy on me too. I'm not sure if it's because of the skincare in the product. But overall I do think it's worth the money.

I found this foundation because of you and ive been OBSESSED! I just started my beauty channel and in almost every video I'm wearing this foundation lol. I haven't been able to move on to any other foundation. I have senstive skin and have no issues with this. My pump also tore up but it won't stop me from using it.

Nars light reflecting is my HOLY GRAIL!! I have other foundations I need to use up, and I am genuinely itching to use up the other ones so I can JUST use this one. I miss it if I don’t wear it. I’ve had it for several months now and I still crave to use it. It doesn’t break me out, coverage is perfect, not heavy or greasy even on my oily skin. I can see myself repurchasing this forever.

I’m a “sometimes” makeup artist and started using this as soon as it came out. It is incredible especially for aging skin!

I'm actually so glad you posted this allie! I have a horrid time with foundations as well as shades because I'm so pale with what I call 'bad neutral' undertones, meaning instead of looking good in silver and gold I can only do silver, but warmer eyeshadow looks better on me and I cant wear light colors and especially light blues/green and yellow/orange. Basically none of the "neutral" undertone signs apply but cool tones are too pink on me and in most lights it's really easy to look yellow, and some neutral tones foundations still pull yellow on me. I finally started looking at nars because I have yet to see anyone have a bad review of their foundations across a whole range of skin types and tones. I used their match tool based on my closest matching other foundations and was surprised that Oslo L1.5 came up, but I think I'm also going to try Mont blanc because on camera you seem to have a very similar skin tone to me. My only hold up all this time has been that I'm trying to make as much of my makeup and skin care routines 100% cruelty free and nars isnt since they're owned by shiseido and sell in countries that require animal testing either of the ingredients themselves or of the product once it arrives in their markets and such. But with something as challenging for me as foundation I'm willing to let that slide and accept that in the US and the bulk of countries the nars sub brand itself tries to be cruelty free.

I couldn't agree more! Fantastic foundation! I LOVE IT! I am 72 with fairly dry skin. I think it's more normal than dry though. I am a foundation junkie. I have tried every brand you can mention and I continually go back to the Nars Light Reflecting foundation. My shade is Patagonia. My pump broke this past week. It must be common because other influencers have mentioned problems with it. Maybe Nars will work on correcting that.

This is also my holy grail foundation!! my tip to use it is to apply it like a moisturiser, warm it between your palms and just smooth it on, it gives you the most surreal glow and its TRULY BLURRING!!

I also love this foundation! I bought it after seeing your first video about it. It feels so nice on my sensitive skin and it doesn't sit in my fine lines. I was using Estee Lauder's Futurist Hydra Rescue but this has replaced it. I like how NARS isn't as balmy and lasts longer. That lip color is amazing on you!

I’m on the bandwagon with this nars foundation as well! I haven’t ever gotten on with ANY nars base products-but this one is a game changer. It’s so beautiful, natural and as you pointed out…it’s reliable! I haven’t had one “bad foundation” day with this one and I have used it for a couple months straight now. Also traveled and wore it this summer in Mexico and north east Canada and it did equally as well in both climates! Sometimes I mix it in with other products (a tinted spf and a primer) and it mixes with other products well! The color range is fantastic imo (I haven’t ever been able to get a good match w previous nars base products) but was able to get a spot on match! I literally have zero negative comments on this one! Also it didn’t explode or leak whatsoever in all of my flights❤️!

My favorite of all time is definitely the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Stick Foundation. So versatile from sheer to medium to full coverage. It layers beautifully and looks so skin like and thin and long wearing. I’ve already gone through two sticks and I never finish foundation . I have to try this one next !

well i popped out this afternoon and grabbed a test sample (santa fe)... and after 5 hours of wearing this, I am in love with this foundation... I will be purchasing this tomorrow - As always Allie thank you for your passion for makeup and your honesty & integrity

I’ve been using this foundation for several months now and recently I noticed my redness has gotten way better. When you read the Ingredients I’m wondering if the foundation is what did it! I also love this for everyday. I have found that it will cling to my dryness if I don’t apply it with my fingers like NARS says to do. When I use my fingers it really melts into my skin. I do get a bit oily through the day, but I have been using less powder and no primer. So I will try that again and see if it help. Honestly I got into this foundation after you raved about it and it is my favorite! The Make up forever HD is close second. That one stays a little more matte on me by the end of the day. But the NARS one feels more weightless and the color match is better for me. Thanks for sharing this product with us Allie! And your skin is looking amazing, it’s not just the foundation 😘😘😘

I have a lot of acne and while I've been covering it less and less as of late in order for me to justify $65 aud + shipping I might wanna look for someone with more acne trying it. Hey Allie! I'm 62 years old with lines, crevices, dry-to-normal skin, hyperpigmentation, age spots, moody rosacea with weird texture and silvery scars from removal of BCCs, BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powder is it! For 20 years now! It works over any moisturizer, primer, BB or CC cream, tinted sunBLOCK, self tanner, anything I've thrown at it. The coverage is easy to moderate depending on what's under it and which brush you use. I've had many women tell me my skin looks great. I use two adjoining shades, one in the original semi-dewy finish, the other in matte. You do have to spend time buffing it, and you do have to use good quality brushes. Oh, and sweat doesn't seem to bother it, even though I don't use setting spray. Sometimes I walk through a light mist cloud of plain rosewater spray with it on. And I work outdoors all day In Southern California's abundant sun and smog. BareMinerals is it!

So I LOVE this foundation too. It’s definitely beautiful and has amazing coverage. I love the added skincare benefits too. I actually applied it to get ready for the day as I watched this! When I want a matte look I use the Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation. That’s probably my favorite foundation to date. Give that one a try if you haven’t already!!

Yes I love this foundation. I bought the new Lancôme and actually it’s running close with this one. The main difference is the scent of the Lancôme but the scent goes away. Also, I don’t have to powder the Lancôme at all which as someone who is older, that is a plus. Great video Allie. Xoxo 😘

I love this NARS foundation as well. Especially because it lasts a long time. Pretty much anyone could justify the price because you only need a very small amount, it is so pigmented. I have to say though, I get the exact same look when I mix my Dollar General 5$ Believe beauty foundation in with the Fresh brand Rose Deep Hydration face cream moisturizer before applying it to my face. I mix it together with my finger on the back of my hand then apply it with my brush. After I apply my foundation and concealer with my brush I bounce over everything with my beauty blender. I wet it in the sink then squeeze it out with a dry bath cloth. Then I spray the butt of it with Catrice Prime and Fine dewy glow fixing spray. I love to bounce over every single one of my foundations and concealers this way. Especially if I set everything with powder. It just gives every single foundation, concealer and powder combo a glow that isn't greasy at all, but looks like skin. Another foundation I'm hooked on is the Loreal True Match Lumi. Last time I ran into Walmart to repurchase the Lumi I grabbed the wrong shade. It is literally 3 shades darker than my face. Florescent lighting can really throw you off big time. Especially during the Summer when your eyes have to adjust from the natural bright sunlight to the Florescent lighting in a store. Anyway, they didn't have my usual color so I just grabbed what I thought would be closest. I messed up big time. So.... since I don't ever return any makeup products. I thought, " Is there any way I can lighten this and make it work?" I remembered buying the Loreal Full Wear more than concealer in the shade Ivory 330. It is way too light for me so I decided to try mixing the too dark Lumi with the too light Infallible full wear concealer and y'all..... the combo is so gorgeous. It instantly erased my regrets and I started questioning if I should start buying the 2 this way on purpose 😅. If any of you are like me, you definitely have at least one concealer that is too light. Ordering online can also be a huge pain when trying to choose the right shade. So most makeup lovers have a concealer that's too light. Don't worry, at some point you will likely have a foundation that's too dark. I'm not saying every combination of formulas will work together, but the Lumi and the Infallible full wear literally make the PERFECT combination effect. It's skin like, super thin, but full coverage. It's glowy to the eyes, but doesn't have to be set with a powder. It couldn't work any better together. I work a regular full time job, so like most people, I don't have time to be too fussy with my makeup before work. It only takes about 10 extra seconds for me to mix 1 pump of Lumi and one small dollop of the Fresh Wear concealer together then get it on my face. So it is worth that 10 seconds for certain. I just can't explain how beautiful that combo works together. Anyway, happy makeuping to everyone! 😊

I tend to rotate through foundations almost daily just based on how my skin is behaving. This is definitely one of my favorites. I have a friend at work that is my go-to when I want to talk all things beauty and she always comments when she thinks my makeup look good. But when I wear this or the Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturizer she always says my skin looks good that day. Not my makeup but my skin, just like you mentioned.

Nars light reflecting, Fenty powder foundation and Fenty skin tint are my top 3 for sure! I have no desire to buy anything else at the moment! ❤️

Hey Allie!! Thank you so much for this video. I’m not too much of a foundation gal as my skin type is more dry, and prone to acne and rosacea. So I have a hard time finding something that doesn’t break me out, give me flare ups or is just way too drying. I’ve been doing a ton of research as I want something for night outs or just help even my skin out and I think you’ve sold me to at least give this one a try. Totally agree! I now have 3 colours so I can match my skin tone whatever the season ( it’s great in winter and summer) and degree of self tan. At my most dry in winter I mix it with Charlotte Tilbury’s light wonder and that mix is chefs kiss for extra dry skin. Xo
