@@tobiasgvenus Yeah! I got my Zenfone 9 since making this comment, and it's under the fingerprint section. You set "Screen Off Unlock" to "press only". Instead of "press or touch"

Thanks a bunch! A small beast with so many fabulous features in it. I just wish they made more compact AND powerful phones. As a small person with small pockets, i can't stand this modern tendency to enormously huge smartphones ;D Thanks for the great review
Do you have any problem with it calling the emergency number. I have the 8 and when it gets humid and the phone is in my pocket it always tries to call the emergency set number
@@liamjenkins82 yes it does. Still did it while it was in my pocket some hours ago. I always wondered why it always did so. Do you mean to say it only does that in humid conditions (like it being in our pocket for hours)?
@@adetunjichristopheroyewusi1887 that's when I've always noticed mine doing it. It does happen other times. I do a lot of welding work in factories where it's usually warm and humid. Does it all day constantly. Never found a way to turn it off either
I currently have both and I'll keep the one i like the most after I've tested out the Zenfone 9 enough. So far after three days of usage I'm leaning towards Zenfone bit I'll use for a bit longer until I can make a more objective decision. I don't think that the difference is very big between the Pixel photos compared to ones taken on the Zenfone which can be thanks to updates to the Zenfone. I think the Zenfone feels snappier and more fluid thanks to the 120hz screen. Battery life also feels better with the Zenfone. Overall I'm very impressed by the Zenfone which is the first Asus Phone I've had.
i own this phone. it's not that small tbh, it's a same size as normal iPhone 14. just put it side by side. also the screen is a bit weird when display green to grey colour, so many vertical lines...
Can i have please one of your asus Zenfone 9? im a student from the Philippines and it will be a big help for me to have one, at least i can make power point on the phone to make reports for my Thesis, and i also love asus brand.. Thanks 🙏
@@tobiasgvenus GPS inaccuracies, very bad HDR camera processing, unusable navigation buttons (classic mode) , brightness and color differences at different refresh rates, green hue when using night mode, strange behaviour when using auto refresh rate, and the list goes on. All still unfixed.
