do you think a combo like samira rell or some other very strong engage would do good into it or is it just best to farm and scale with jinx lulu or something

@@aze480 Honestly for me, I've just recently started going either samira rell or draven lulu into it. Draven obviously being one of the highest early damage adc's in game, with the help from lulu can go just about even, you just have to not get bubbled as well as catch every axe while engaging. The other thing would just be the regular samira rell, if you engage on the lucian immediately and bait out the dash nami is mostly useless since her only REAL role in the duo lane is to give him empowered autos and move speed with her abilities.

IMO, Lucian isn’t over turned. Out of all ADC picks I have played, lucian has been my main because he is black champion. Simple as that and I have played him throughout the years from when his Dash refreshed on Ult kills, to the ever so deadly black cleaver BoRk bruiser builds during the tank metas. This version of him, feels at most, low tier meta(A-B) tier outside of that nami shit. Nami lucian was always considered the best duo for lucian because she gave him all the things that senna now gives him, but outside of this cheese, I don’t see how lucian is overturned rather than nami execute interaction being as stupid as Ever. That said, he ain’t some unkillable, unmatchable, unreachable, champion that escapes out of every situation like a trist or a jinx with 1 assist. When he commits, he is vulnerable. His Q is shadow of its old self, same with his ultimate. The best changes to him recently were simply the W allows other to proc your speed. The enhanced attacks were sweeteners. After the 12.0 update however I very much predict seeing a return to a triforce bruiser kite build, since that is more along the lines of how his is actually played.

Ngl I have started giving my ADCs a rundown on what i can do for them in case they dont know how X Y Z works. It started bc NOONE charges in when i zilean ult them (mid silver high bronze)

and i still get nami that still think comet will be a better rune when i play lucian

It's the same thing still. ADC/Assassins just wont snowball out of hand as easily now that's all.

They also lower heals and shields by 10*%, and lower all armor and magic prn % items. Tanks will most likely be very strong next patch whilst on bot you'll probably see eclipse adc's + vayne and kog

As I tank player, I dont really care about this change. Sinse Im not here to burst the enemy, but to slowly cook him with sunfire, and I just need to stay alive long enough. So extra ressistances and hp is perfect for that

@@markoperic5023 The thing is, as a tank your innate survivability is less valuable. Your dps being more slow and sustained is going to be much less valuable in teamfights, as is your innate cc when fights last slightly longer and your single target knockup is not as impactful over all. Those extra resistances on you means adcs will have to auto you a couple more times to kill you when they have 3 items, but those extra resistances on ADCs means you will struggle to 1v1 them at any point in the game. There are so many champions in this game that are basically designed as "If it can get in melee range of you, you die, if you kite it, it dies." Trundle, Garen, Darius, half of top lane meta tbh, etc. Those champs already have a long history of getting counterpicked and abused out of toplane by Vayne, Neeko, Jayce, etc, and they are going to have it even worse after the survivability update.

Lucian does this with pretty much every enchanter support, without the electrocute component. I wouldn't say he is "fine," he has been a top tier adc with a high pick rate for a while now. The survivability update will probably make his early game sustained damage even more powerful. I'm not even sure Lucian/Nami is strictly better than Lulu. The fact that he is an adc that can comfortably mid lane is an entire discussion in itself, especially when so much of his power is unlocked by having a support.

Its not meant to make tanks tankier, but to make adcs less squishy

Because people with IQ will let you push the wave and farm safely under tower. If lucian doesnt get fed that becomes the most useless bot lane in history.

@@allat0nce You know that this bot lane strat does too much damage for too less effort. It is so unfair than Nami's win rate had a time when it increased a lot because people don't want to play against it. It isn't that it has a counter. It's that it forces you to play in X way to counter it, even if you don't want to do it. It doesn't let you to play the game the way you want.

@@allat0nce Why are you flaming me? There are more than one problem with this strategy and i don't even play at ranked because always when i try i have like 3 feeders in my team that i can't carry. But my skill is about gold 1 plat 5. And i who thought that the toxic League comunity o is only in game, not on social media as well.

Lol it isn't as easy as it used to be (thanks Riot Balancing Team please nerf other champs now) but I LIVE for the games where getting ahead on Samira means I basically get to 1v9 solo carry the game.

@@Aleph3575 yeah, but i fell like only samira can do it among all adcs cuz she is bullshit. And thats what i dont like, it feels unfair. Her kit just does too much and i mean, the fucking w is retarded. But this isnt a rant about samira, i play her as well. Even vayne gets a harder time carrying cuz her damage is single target and she has way less defenses. I dont get mad about losing to, a good vayne deserves respect. But i do get mad against a samira that my carry fed just cuz he cant handle all that she can do. Or cuz we got a carry "support" hahaha
