What an amazing trip!!!! We left our home in Jupiter, Fl and 3 hours later we were in the lobby of Amara Cay! www.islamorada... It was very nice!!
We dropped the new SeaArk ( seaarkboats.com ) in the water and were ready to go!!! It happened fast!!
Met up with Bean, from ‪@BeanSportfishing‬ and got after it!!!! This was an epic trip for our family!!! I can't explain how impressed I am with Bean and his wife, Astrid! You will certainly be seeing lots of them in the future!!!

@@Buddystemz , thank you. I cannot recommend Brother Francis Shelter enough here in Anchorage. While it is a bit.....rough, shall we say....it beats being actually on the streets by a LONG shot. I get the apartment on Thursday and a vehicle on the first of June. 🙂

Yo Robert! A couple days ago, I got to run my first skid steer loader, and now I know how much fun your dad has operating those jokers. I tamed the one I operated down by setting the sensitivity to the first setting. Soon, I’ll be at the controls of my second mini-excavator helping with firewood. Running machinery is something I love. I just can’t get enough of it. For my family, today would’ve been my maternal grandmother’s 98th birthday, as she went to be with The Lord on November 25, 2013 at the ripe old age of 87.

Never thought I'd see the day when someone legally harvested a Goliath! It's about time. What an amazing video. Punched all the right tickets; sport fishing, family time, good food, and hightlighting some great businesses. (I especially love that the girls are starting to ignore the camera. The big ones 300lbs are nasty. Jewfish. They smell bad and got lots of worms. Years ago we use to spear them off Tampa on wrecks. We sold the fish to the fish house for fuel cost. But that is the perfect size to eat. You and Been done good. Happy Memorial day. Tu Amigo Robert Rojas

Nice to see that fishery recovering. They were around when I was a kid in the '70s down there but you only rarely heard of a catch. Hopefully the catch control will continue to loosen up and we can see a recovery like we did with Red Fish.

Don't know about the rest of Florida but in the TAMPA BAY area, they were just about the only fish on most wrecks. And a lot of bridges. Speared my first one in 71 at 17 years old. Had my choice of well over a hundred on just our first wreck we hit.

Tamp Bay area, was overrun with them. Couldn't hurt their population no matter how hard you tried. As you said. Never tasted a bad one at all.

This past week I was in the keys fishing with South Florida Fishing channel, Florida Fishing Couple, and Marathon sport fishing You Tube channels for a contest I had won. I had a great time and on the way from Jacksonville visiting family driving to the Stuart and Jupiter exit and all I could think about is what are the odds of running into you just driving around. I knew the odds were not in my favor, so I kept heading south. maybe one day our paths will cross, and I will have the chance to go fishing with you.
