Not quite automatic, but way easier than normal mods because of the official collaboration between the two teams. I've never used it, but I know it's at least one button, which technically disqualifies it from being automatic
@@Friendly_Neighborhood_Dozer It is automatic. You just hit export once you've finished making the car. It's no different than just saving. It's automatic in the sense that the game does all the heavy lifting of compiling and building the right file structures for BeamNG to read. It's an automatic install instead of requiring you to manually drop the files in.
Thats an awsome idea, I have a beammp server but I only run it casualy. Would still be cool to load it with a load of dankpods related mods and make an 'unofficial' server though.
Edit - 14:46 Ayy awesome! I'm so glad he's aware of it!! HAHA AWESOME! There's another Fiat 126p mod which includes more than 100 configurations, INCLUDING TONY KOWALSKI!!! Before and after the restoration too!
@@SH1mster You will have to peruse the official BeamNG Forums for it. There is a section dedicated to mods, and in there you may find mods that cannot be uploaded directly to the repo for various reasons. One of those is the remastered Maluch mod.
Wade, you need to play the Finnish game _My Summer Car_ and also the VR game _Duck Season..._ PLEASE! *MY SUMMER CAR:* You LITERALLY have to build a Nugget. Put the engine together, bolt by bolt, and then into the car. Then, put the CAR together! (and so so much more) The developer brands it as a Finnish Survival Simulator, but it's totally on brand for both Garbage Time and Hello, I'm Gaming! 😊 Best of all... THERE'S A FIAT NIKKI NPC VEHICLE, and it's even _red!_ But seriously, the game suits your personality perfectly, and you playing it would be amazing! *DUCK SEASON:* It takes place in the 90s (as does My Summer Car), and it's _a pure nostalgia trip!_ James would love it, too, for that reason. The game is a thriller of sorts, but I don't want to spoil anything. The graphics are AMAZING and photorealistic, makes you genuinely feel like you're back in that era. The actual duck game inside Duck Season, is basically Duck Hunt, but with epic graphics and in VR (of course).
A tip for BeamNG, you can hold Control and drag points of the car with your cursor and you can also exit the car by pressing F and open and close things by clicking the small blue sqares that pop up when you hover over them with the cursor
Also you can bind buttons to go in slow motion, and it seemed like his habit of always clicking "spawn new" and leaving his wrecked cars around started causing some FPS issues.
BeamNG is legit a good driving sim all around, whether you want to blast through a rally stage or actually just practice driving a manual in city traffic it just feels right (if you have a force feedback wheel and pedals with clutch and H-Shifter of course)
5:30 It's a police car. The VB stands for Veřejná bezpečnost which can be translated into Public Security or Public Safety. Which was the name back then for the regular police. The name was used during the communist rule in Czechslovakia. In 1989/1990 when democracy was restored. The VB was disbanded by the goverment and formed a new organisation which used the regular Police naming. And the same applies when the country split in 1993 and both countries use the normal police names to this day. The car I think is a VAZ 2102, aka Lada 1200
Insert to recover/fix vehicle shift+c to enter free cam [alt+ mouse wheel changes speed, shift to go faster, F7 to spawn vehicle at camera location, move WITH WASD, WONT WORK ON CONTOLLER BY DEFAULT!!!!] F for walking mode left ctrl + mouse wheel to chance node grabber strength
i love that you spawned a blue polonez. my mum had one in that exact same colour and fucking hated it. one major memory was when she dropped it off at the scrappy and said to them "can i go to town on it before you put it in the crusher?" and just this 5ft woman in a fit of pure rage standing on the roof going to town on it with a sledgehammer while me, my dad and my grandad are sitting in the ford granada trying not to buckle at this feral woman getting in the car acting like that was a normal thing to do.
The car at 10:55 that didn’t start, i have the same mod, for no reason, they forgot the radiator, gearbox and rear dif, these can be put back on in the garage and saved
Few pro tips from another BeamNG player: - You can hold control to drag your car around with the mouse - Hold insert to revert your car to its initial state and rewind time if you keep holding it - You can press F to get out of your car and go into walk mode - Having a lot of cars on the map at once like what you do will lag the game, even on a beast of a computer like yours
I made a joke about Wade entering The Pipeline on his "tech that let me down #2" video. Guess I was right. All he needs is some programmer socks for his streams.
Hey dank, that car you called the "Bathtub" is in fact a real car from the race the "Gambler 500"- an offroad race across Oregon in the US where people race 500$ nuggets poorly adapted to offroad driving. It's full of shenanigans and I feel like you and James would love it!
14:25 you see, the awful tires with no traction are an intended feature, to make you constantly pivot left and right while you drive so that you can see forwards without the engine in the way. Definitely.
It's been a while since I saw some vids of people just messing about in BeamNG, but this, this has to be the best one. I was laughing my ass off the entire time xD Also shout out for using Linux for gaming! It's not every day you see this :D
A Czech here to explain what VB (shown at 5:32) used to mean in my country. VB stood for Veřejná Bezpečnost (Public Safety/Security in English) which was our equivalent of the police from 1945 until 1991 (which yes, included the communist years).
The "Yugo" in 9:14 is a Polish Polonez. I had one, but the newer model. Polonez caro. Rear wheel drive. I loved it. 80 ish HP! But when it rained I was a drift king. And it was was big inside too.
One of my comfort games. I usually pick a mid line car that is fun to shift through, stick with realistic controls with clutch and have a sunday drive.
"we can pretend it's like its auto pilot!" ONE SECOND LATER... *Car ploughs off the road like it's a Ford Mustang that's spotted it's prey (crowd of on lookers)*
Ay Wade! pro tip: get a controller with long triggers (aka not just button triggers) it allows you to feather it, or start with very weak on the acceleration so you don't burn out with the drag cars/huge engine cars.
as the aussie car with the HUGE supercharger was doing its 2nd barrel roll in hoodcam, my youtube crashed with an error message popping up saying "msedge.exe has crashed" with an error code with no results... it barrelrolled THAT HARD
this was awesome!!! we need more wade beam ng, completely different to any other beam videos with the knowledge on all the cars and the geeking out over interiors
