This Is A Real Hot Shower In A Can! | The Geyser Portable Hot Shower System

Wandering around Overland Expo PNW I got a chance to check something out I have been wanting to check out for quite some time, the Geyser hot water shower system. These are for sure the most efficient camp shower you can buy, and it's built into a canister. This thing is pretty well thought out, and I really like that it can be run off electric (I've been preaching building a proper electrical system for things like this). I might have to pick one of these up to do some testing....

Nice review so the question is did you get one??? And another question with a heating one can you actually turn off a heated shower can you turn off the element and take an ice cold shower during hot weather would be a good question to ask them next time you see them

I was camping the past 6 days, looks like you got the answer. I do not have one, but considering getting one. My shower setup is pretty sweet already but this is just simple and easy.

Not a shower. In Texas we call this "Mexican shower". Its just a scrub. No way to rinse with soap or wash your hair.

Man that is the most lame response from independenceoverland. In retrospect. a 4liter/1gallon of water gives a person 1 min of water for most portable showers. (but normally people turn the head off to conserve water for washing hair. Just to get wet, soap up, wash soap off, then do same on body.). This basically is similar to the term expect you're using a watering filling sponge. Kinda like a spongebath in a sense. Since this uses less water because you're absorbing the water into the sponge to hold the water and not always relying on the water to pour on you. This gives you more time to scrub your body longer. But with only 3liters of water i guess it can be iffy for people who are SLOW shower people. But it's really sad this isn't it's own self contained unit. AKA has it's own battery cell and recharges VIA USB-C. Now that would've been a game changer. But running 10amps via 12volts = 100watts for 20mins. May not take alot of power. But you are only getting 3liters of spa-temp water. Then again i guess that could be nice. IF this unit did have a true depth water heater system that has a sealant system that real water heaters have that foam the inner steel core housing to keep the water hot for long period of time. But also keeping the outside tube container cool to the touch. I guess in a way this does beat 12volt 150watt steel tubes you just dunk in water cups to heat up water. But if the unit is gonna be this big. It wouldn't be hard to throw in a power pack built into it for USB C charging or 12volt DC charging. Throw in few 18650 or 2450 cells in it. One of the biggest problems i do find on the unit of this. Is the poor pump. Sounds like you guys ripped it off a cheap 12volt RV pump. And 2amps for it on such a thin hose. Seems like this product was thrown together from recycled pieces of idea's like a 12volt RV pump and a steel heating tube but using bit less power on the heating tube. Then just made a fancy over case to make thing look 'neat'.
